(Minerva/Cheryl version)
This chapter is the story of Cheryl and Minerva. If you are a choni shipper, I recommend you wait for the next chapter.
Flashback
The night has finally come. Cheryl was staring at the stranger. She had pretty hair and beautiful eyes; Cheryl noticed. She knew she could not be trusted. Did she come only to see her art? Cheryl doesn't believe it. There must be a reason for Minerva's presence in her home. But she must admit she is good at hiding it. She has so much control over herself that it is scary to think she is not a human but a robot. If it wasn't because Minerva did break character once when Cheryl asked her about her family and Cheryl was able to see the change of light in her eyes, even if it was only for a second, it was enough for Cheryl to confirm that the stranger was hiding something... but she was definitely a human.
It would take a lot of time to figure out the truth, but it wasn't like Cheryl had anything more interesting to do.
She walked Minerva to the door. She stared at her eyes for the last time for the day before saying goodbye.
"I will call you tomorrow," Minerva said.
"Will see if I answer" Cheryl replied a little cold to scare her a little. She was the one that had the control and she was never going to let anyone ever take it again.
Minerva didn't seem bothered by the tone she used; it was like she was expecting it.
"See you soon, Cheryl," Minerva whispered before she walked away.
Cheryl stood at the door with her arms crossed, watching Minerva leave.
What could she do to figure out Minerva's intentions?
One day passed, then two days passed, a week passed, and Cheryl still didn't receive a call from Minerva. This was not expected. Cheryl thought Minerva would have called by now. Maybe it was the fact that Minerva was the only person that she had contact with for years, or maybe it was just that her compliments on Cheryl's art were interesting. If Cheryl was sure of one thing about Minerva, it was that she didn't lie about her knowledge of art.
Minerva had a talent for art and Cheryl wanted someone to see her art. It was just that, not that she just wanted attention from someone.
- Come by six if you want to see something I made
Cheryl sent the message and waited for a reply.
Minerva never replied, but it was now 6:05 pm and Cheryl was questioning if Minerva's plan was making her wonder What Minerva could have been doing that was more important than Cheryl, or if this was something Cheryl just wondered about because she had nothing better to do.
6:10 pm there was a knock on the door.
Cheryl got up to open the door.
"I hope I am not late" Minerva said. She still was calm, as if she didn't care about anything or anyone. It was like if Cheryl told her to leave, she wouldn't care, and Cheryl wasn't sure if she liked that or not.
"You are... but I let it pass this time"
Minerva walked into the house. Cheryl took her to the room where Cheryl likes to hide her art.
They stood in front of Cheryl's new creation. It was her grandmother.
"The details are really interesting..but there is something about the way you drew her eyes... was she someone you know?"
Minerva asked. Cheryl guessed that if Minerva had come here with a purpose, she would have known who the woman in the painting was.
"She is my aunt," Cheryl lied.
