This chapter is the story of Cheryl and Toni. If you like Minerva and Cheryl more, I recommend you wait for the next chapter.

It was graduation day. Cheryl was waiting for her girlfriend to finish getting ready.

"I am almost done!" Toni yelled from the room.

This was not normal with the couple, most of the time, it was Cheryl, the one that took more time getting ready.

Cheryl was happy to finally graduate and leave everyone behind, but Toni, on the other hand, was sad to finish this chapter in her life.

It's been only a week since the last fight they had, but they still didn't talk about it.

"Let's go, we are late!" Toni yelled grabbing her keys on the way to the door while Cheryl just followed her not caring about being late.

They arrived thinking everyone was late, but it was Veronica, the one that was still missing and was yet to arrive.

"Where is veronica?" Betty asked worried, while Archie was standing next to her trying to calm her down. Jughead and Betty had broken up months ago because of Archie.

"She is your ex?! Why don't you know where she is?" Betty yelled to Archie.

"Calm down... she is probably just late or just not coming," Jughead said.

"Or maybe she had something to do with this," Archie said, referring to Cheryl. He still didn't forgive her for telling Jughead about the kiss and knew what Cheryl was capable of doing.

Everyone turned to look at Cheryl, who could not care less about them not trusting her.

"Cheryl didn't have anything to do with this, she was with me... Right, Cheryl?" Toni asked, hoping Cheryl was not involved.

"I don't know where she is," Cheryl said, walking away from the group with Toni following her.

Cheryl stopped walking to turn around to see Toni.

"You think I have something to do with this?" Cheryl asked, annoyed.

"What do you want me to think? That you are innocent? Really you?"

"I am not innocent but I really don't know where she is."

"Cheryl... " Toni whispered, tired of this. They have been in this situation before. Cheryl always gets involved in something like she wants to be everyone's enemy and she is succeeding.

"What did you do?" Toni tried again. Cheryl rolled her eyes. She didn't understand why everyone was worried for Veronica when she was probably just making out with someone somewhere at school since Cheryl saw her when she arrived.

"I didn't do anything Toni.." Cheryl walked away determined to find Veronica herself since everyone was just talking and gossiping instead of doing something to find her.

As she expected, she found Veronica hiding in a bathroom, but she was not with someone. She was alone, crying. "Veronica? What are you doing here?" Cheryl asked, approaching her slowly to not scare her.

"You wouldn't understand," Veronica whispered, trying to wipe her tears away.

"Is this about Archie?" Cheryl asked, knowing they had recently broken up.

"No... it's...Betty" Veronica said, breaking down again. "She is your best friend.. I am sure you would find a way to resolve this and I just saw how worried she was for you.."

"She is leaving Cheryl, she is going to leave me" Veronica cried again. "And I love her and I confessed to her my feelings but she said she was not ready for us" it was heartbreaking seeing Veronica this way. "Let her go, if she is not ready maybe she just needs time," Cheryl said.

"If you stay here just crying you would lose the last day you have with her" Cheryl continued.

Veronica nodded in response, knowing Cheryl was right. She was hurt for losing Betty, but it doesn't mean that it would be forever, and if it was forever at least they would still have today to live and remember.

Cheryl helped Veronica do her makeup again and made sure she looked perfect again.

They walked together back to their friends. Everyone ran to hug Veronica.

"Where you found her?" Toni asked her girlfriend.

"She was just late"

"Sorry for blaming you"

"Don't worry about it... let's go" Cheryl took Toni's hand and walked to their seat.

After the ceremony was over, it was time for the party at Veronica's house.

Cheryl and Toni were dancing slowly in the center of the room. The song ended and now it was time to talk. Cheryl hated this type of conversation with her friends. What will you do in the future? Where are they planning to move to? What will you work at and who will you marry?

Cheryl only knew she wanted her future to be with Toni.

But her dream to be with Toni didn't only depend on her; it also depended on Toni.

One week later

"Please... Toni don't leave me.. I- I promise I will do better" Cheryl cried, holding Toni's arm to prevent her from leaving.

"Cheryl! You said that before! So many times... and I tried! I really tried..." Toni said trying to stop herself from crying while she was avoiding looking at Cheryl she knew that it wouldn't take a lot to make her stay but she couldn't stay, she had made this decision weeks ago.

"It will be different... I just.." Cheryl tried to say, but Toni interrupted her.

"You keep breaking your promises... and You keep being rude with people and you keep trying to always be the enemy"

"That's not true... I-I... They deserve it!"

"Seriously? What did Betty do to you? Why did you tell everyone that she slept with veronica?"

"Because it's true? And jughead was making fun of you because he kissed you"

"All of that for a stupid kiss?"

"Is not just that... and I apologized to Betty"

"I Can't Cheryl... I don't understand you anymore"

Toni had found out what Cheryl had done. She was angry at Archie and Jughead, and she confessed to them a secret Veronica had told her. She just wanted them to shut up and move on, but she forgot that Toni had asked her to stay out of trouble.

But the truth was that Cheryl didn't know how to love. She thought she should not give everything, without waiting before knowing if they were magic or fire. Toni always tried to find a cure for her broken heart.

Toni was the rain on her sad days that reminded her of her evil heart. Toni made her pain go away with her lips but never was able to erase it.
