Chapter 14: Darkness Strikes

I was getting ready to attack him, when Natsu stated something about Byro and his octopus.
"Nows not the time to be laughing, Natsu. He held his own against Gildarts." Romeo reminded.
"Yeah, I saw the whole damn thing." I stated in my deep voice my dragon force armor gives me.
"Yeah. Yeah. He's powerful who cares! He riding a giant octopus!" Natsu laughed making the octopus squish down from being embarrassed. Natsu said something dumb as me and Byro went into a staring contest after he stated he would destroy Natsu. I then notice the octopus shot his ink out at Natsu and Romeo. Natsu soon went into mid battle with the octopus. When next thing I notice was the octopus shot ink out at Coco.
"Coco! Look out!" I yelled, as I quickly grabbed the child before the ink could touch her. I then flew over to the side, and place her down out of harms way.

"You okay, Coco." I asked.
"Yeah. Thanks." She smiled and I returned it with a nod. I then notice how Natsu saved Dan.
"Yo Octo-Geezer! Don't you know whose on your side!" Natsu yelled.
"Yeah. You could have hurt your own team!" I growled.
"I realised that but as proud members of the Legion Platoon, they are suppose to devote their lives to the Holy War." Byro stated.
"Holy War, my ass! You have no rights to speak when it comes to Coco! She's not your slave! Even if she apart of Zentopia or anyone else! She can make her own decisions!" I yelled.
"You are in no position to justify my actions. You don't understand how many lives are at stake still. Daughter of Gildrarts Clive." Byro stated which made me growl.

Laxus's Pov...
I sighed as the four of us walked over where we saw the explosion. We saw Elfman and Lisanna as well as Mira in Satan's Soul: Halphas, and she was on top of some girl. Mira soon got up as she transformed out of her Satan Soul form.
"Well that was quite different." She giggled.
"Yeah, but looks whose here." Elfman pouted as Mira turned towards me.
"Laxus!" She exclaimed.
"Hey Mira." I stated as her shocked expression turned into a smile.

"What are you doing here?" Mira asked as her, Lisanna, and Elfman walked over.
"Well our path kinda led here." I stated with a smile.
"Oh. Well, we got our Fallen Angel peices. You got your?" Mira questioned.
"Yep. You ready to head back to the guild?" I asked.
"Yeah! Let's go!" Mira stated with a smile. We then begin our way to the guild. We talked about what happened with our ruins. Especially about the problems we ran into. We made some jokes and listen to Elfman complain quietly behind us. Apparently, Mira had her Saton Soul form ripped out of her and she had to transform into Satan's Soul Halphas in order to beat Satan's Soul and one of those members of the Legion Platoon. Which is how we caught the ending of her battle with the Legion Platoon.

Y/n's Pov...
Natsu was in battle with the octopus as Lucy spawned Aquarius in a puddle. Romeo then pulled Natsu out from underneath the octopus's tentacle that had him trapped underneath. Romeo then used his magic to put a net inside the octopus's mouth. Natsu went to roar into the octopus's mouth when the octopus grabbed him.
"Don't think you can beat Kanaloa. He is a very skilled warrior just like me. Such childish tactics isn't going to work." Byro growled.
"He's got Natsu!" Happy exclaimed.
"How are we supposed to save him!" Romeo questioned.
"Oh no, he's getting sick!" Lucy exclaimed.
"It would appear victory is ours. Let's go Kanaloa." Byro demanded.
"You hold it right there!" I yelled making Byro turn around and look at me. I then continued, "My mother left that crown, the gem peice, and all the other Fallen Angel peices to me hoping I could keep them a way from each other! You have in no right mind to take my belongings!"
"Why do you want these peices anyways? Why are you stealing them?" Michelle asked.
"We are not stealing them. We're just simply taking them into our care." Byro stated as I requipped back into my regular clothes.
"What the hell do you hope to use them for?!" I growled.
"We're collecting these peice because they belong to The Fallen Star. Zentopia has demanded we retrieve them. We're following the Archbishop and what he says." Byro informed.
"The Fallen Star..." I questioned thinking about those three words.
"What could the archbishop want with this thing?" Michelle asked as I realized what this ment.
"You have to stop it! If all the peices are gathered then that means the world will come to an end!" I exclaimed.
"So that's what is means." Romeo stated.
"Things just got a whole lot worse!" Happy gasped.
"I won't give these things back to you. A wizard guild doesn't have the power to protect these things." Byro growled.
"He's got a point." Michelle stated.
"Maybe we should let him take the peices." Romeo stated which made my fist ball up.
"No." I growled.
"Huh." Everyone gasp.
"I said no. My mother put her life on the line to protect and seal away these peices. To protect the world. I don't believe that story because I believe what I hear and see." I yelled.
"That story sounded made up to begin with." Natsu scoffed.
"What!" Byro growled.
"If those peice are designed to destroy the world, then I wonder what you and your buddies plan on doing with them!" Natsu yelled.
"Natsu's right. You don't know anything more than we do. Who says you won't make a mistake yourself!" I snapped.
"I can tell you our teachings are not mistaken, so do you dare questioned the archbishop!" Byro demanded.
"That's not true! No ones perfect. We all make mistakes." Michelle added.
"I still don't by it! Your trying to play the hero, but your up to something. Either you or that Archbishop." Natsu yelled, as the octopus shook Natsu. Natsu then stopped talking due to his motion sickness.
