Chapter 26: Lucy vs Flare

Soon the crowd started yelling how Fairy Tail was the weakest guild in Fiore. Soon Juvia came back to us as the battle rounds soon begin.

"Our first round has Lucy Heartfillia from Fairy Tail Team B vs Flare Corona from Raven Tail!" The announcer stated.
"Good luck, Lucy!" I yelled with a smile as Lucy looked at me and smiled. Soon Gramps started shouting.
"Jeez. I get where the old geezer is coming from, but he might want to calm down." Laxus sighed.
"That's Gramps for ya." I giggled as the announcers stated something about Ivan and Gramps. Soon Lucy and Flare both took a step forwards. Soon a sound of a dong being hit happen. Lucy then pulled out her keys as she spawned Taurus. He went to attack Flare as she dodged the attack. She then sent out Scorpio. He then used his attack sand buster as Flare laughed sadisticly as she blocked the attack with her hair. I growled as a weary feeling got my attention. I turned around a looked behind me as I saw nothing was there. I then turned back around and continued watching Lucy's fight. Soon Taurus used Scorpio's attack as one of his own by combining there attacks together. Soon Flare was in the air as Taurus and Scorpio soon went back to the spirit realm. Flare then used her hair to try to attack Lucy as she spawned Cancer. Cancer soon cut threw the attack.
"You cut my hair!" Flare exclaimed.
"Yeah! Way to go Cancer!" Lucy yelled.
"How dare you!" Flare screamed as she sent her hair towards Lucy's feet. Soon Flare swung Lucy around as she hit the ground. She then hit the ground again, and again. Multiple times as she screamed in pain. Lucy soon layed against ground as Flare stopped swinging Lucy around. Lucy soon grabbed her whip. She then threw her Celestial whip at Flare. The whip wrapped around Flare's arm as they soon went up into the air. They both was doing this weird jump rope kinda swing as a red flame appeared on Lucy feet. Lucy screamed as they kept flipping in the air. Soon the attack stopped as they both soon went crashing into the ground. Lucy soon squinted in pain as you could see smoke on her feet.
"Is Lucy going to be okay?" Mira asked.
"I don't know." I stated as I continued to watch.
"Oww!" Lucy whined.
"Aww! Did my hair burn your little tootsies!" Flare growled.
"Stay strong, Lucy!" Nab yelled as Lucy soon threw her boots off.
"You've got this!" I yelled as Flare soon sent her hair into the ground.
"Be careful out there Lucy!" Happy yelled. Lucy was soon looking around as Fairy Tail continued to cheer her on. Soon she kept staring at our guild mates as she gasped.
"Auska! LOOK OUT--" Lucy begin to yell as Flare wrapped her hair around her face. She then threw her down onto the ground. Lucy soon looked up at Flare.
'What was she looking at?' I questioned as I continued to watch. Soon the announcer stated something as I ignored them focusing on Lucy. I needed to know what was going on. Soon Flare started to attack Lucy. Soon Flare picked Lucy up and dragged her against the ground. She was laying on the ground. As she continued to look at someone.

"You can do it, LuLu!" Asuka yelled which made me smile. Flare's hair soon fled with flames. It then continued to hit Lucy. She soon sat up as Lucy continued to get hit multiple times. Flare soon grabbed her and held her up. I then thought back to what Lucy had yelled earlier. It was about Asuka. I then took a quick look over at Asuka. When I saw it. A red strand of hair. It was swaying back and forth. I gasped inside as I then quickly turned around and begin to take off.
"Hey, Y/n. Where you going?" Laxus asked as he looked at me.
"Y/n, is something wrong?" Mira asked.
"I don't have much time to explain. All I can say is I think I know why Lucy isn't fighting." I stated as I took a step back.
"Why's that?" Gajeel asked.
"Asuka." I stated as I took a step back. I quickly turned on my heel as I ran threw the coliseum hallways. I had to get to Asuka. Our youngest Fairy Tail member at the moment. I wouldn't let anyone hurt her.
'I thought I heard her yell something about Asuka. I guess my ears didn't lie to me.' I thought as I ran right into our guild's area. Soon Natsu was right beside me as I quickly spawned my sword a gentle cut the hair. He then burned it as I let my sword go back to it's realm.
"She was trying to protect Asuka." Natsu yelled.
"Your in the clear Lucy!" I yelled.
"Thanks, Y/n and Natsu." Lucy yelled as she pulled out one of her keys. She spawned Gemini. One doll soon cut Lucy free as the other one hit Flare. They soon transformed into Lucy. The only problem was that the version they copied was in a bath towel. The crowd soon went crazy.
"I don't know what going on, but I'm intrigued." One of the announcers stated.
"Oh, grow up. Sure she's got curves, but she doesn't compare against Y/n." Jenny's voice stated. Soon Lucy started saying the same spell she used when she defeated Angel.

"Both stars far and wide that embody the heavens. By that gradients, reavealed by form. I implored Tetra Bibus the ruler of the stars above. I ask that you lend your power to me. That it'll be enough to let rage flow. OPEN  THE RAGING TUMULTUOUS GATE! FOR FAIRY TAIL! WITH ALL 88 HEAVENLY BODIES SHINIG! URANO METRIA!" Lucy soon finished the spell sending bright light around the Coliseum.
"Woah! So pretty!" I exclaimed in aww. Soon the light quickly disappeared. Lucy stood still as I realized Gemini was gone. Soon Lucy begin to wobble back in forth. She then fell down.
"And she's down! Looks likes that's it for Lucy Heartfillia. You know what that means, the winner is Raven tail's Flare Corona!" The announcer yelled.
"Poor Lucy." I stated.
"I told you! You wouldn't win. How does it feel to be a loser!" Flare laughed.
"Hey Y/n." Natsu asked.
"Hmm. What is it?" I asked.
"You care to help me get Lucy motivated." Natsu asked as he grabbed my hand.
"Of course. No matter what we're always guild mates even if we're going against each other." I stated with a smile as I squeezed his hand.
"Good. Let's go." Natsu stated as we both walked down to Lucy. She was crying. I looked at Natsu and then back down at Lucy.
"Lucy, stop crying." I stated in a nice gentle voice.
"No crying." Natsu added.
"I'm sorry I can't help it. It's just not fair!" Lucy cried.
"Trust me, I know. Especially when you get beat by someone in Raven Tail. No it's not fair." I stated with a reassuring smile.
"Like Y/n said, it isn't fair. That's why we'll pay them back a 100 times and more." Natsu stated as Lucy soon sat up and wiped away her tears.
"Lucy, we'll get pay back on them. Trust me. You we're amazing! You showed them, that Seven year gap means nothing." I stated with a smile.
"Why are you down here, Y/n?" Lucy cried.
"Why. I'll tell you why. No matter what team we're on. You'll always be my guild mate and my friend! And I always check on my friends!" I stated with a smile.
"See this is the side we all have seen of Y/n. She knows we have a fighting chance and so do I." Natsu stated as we both reached our hand down to Lucy.
"Don't let your points get to you." I stated with a smile.
"Yeah, Zero points sounds great to me. It makes it easier for us to make a major come back!" Natsu stated.
"Yeah. I'm fired up now." Lucy cried as she looked up and Natsu and me. We both pulled her up and took her to the infirmary. We soon walked out letting her get rest.
