Chapter 20: Tears of Those you Hold Dear

"As a member of Zentopia it is my duty to save the world. In order to stop the Fallen Star, Y/n Dreyar must die." Byro informed.

"I won't let you lay one finger on her!" Natsu yelled as he took off and his fist collided with Byro's hands. Byro soon threw Natsu as I soon walked up to him.
"If you want to kill my daughter, then you'll have to go through me. Besides, I owe him a beating. I'll take care of him as the rest of you go find my baby girl." I declared as I glared at Byro and then looked over at Natsu.
"Okay! Just make sure he feels it! Y/n fought him last time. Make sure you beat his ass for her." Natsu stated as he held his shoulder.
"Oh. I'm gonna do more than just kick his ass. I'm gonna make sure he never lays one finger on my baby girl ever again!" I yelled.
"Hey, I know how to get to the The Fallen Star." A little girl yelled.
"Then lead the way!" Natsu yelled as he and the little girl begin to take off as Laxus and Gray followed behind him.
"Hey, Natsu!" I called.
"Yeah Gildarts?" Natsu asked as he turned and looked back.
"You better find a way to save Y/n. I'm counting on you." I stated with a smile. Natsu turned around and begin to leave again as a grey cat landed in front of them.
"What are you doing?!" Lilly asked.
"It's simply really. I'm keeping you away from your friend!" The grey cat stated as it took off.
"I don't need calculations to know that one live isn't as important as saving millions!" The grey cat stated as he took off. Soon Happy and Lilly took off after him as Byro soon raised his staff up. Happy and Lilly soon lost their wings.
"Would you quit messing around! Your dealing with me now!" I yelled as I then quickly shot an attack at Byro as it then shattered.
"Natsu! Hurry and go find Y/n, Mira and Erza!" Happy called.
"I'll save them little buddy, don't you worry. Laxus come on!" Natsu yelled as they then followed the little girl again. Soon Byro took off.

"You shall not pass!" Byro yelled.
"Stop, turning your back on me!" I yelled as I shot another attack at him.
"It seems you have forgotten about the last time we fought. It left your magic power in the mud." Byro growled.
"I know what will shut your mouth! One of these between the teeth should do the trick." I chuckled as I raises my fist up in the air.
"Only one has dared to ask me to do hand to hand combat. In fact it was your child, the one that's life is on the line." Byro stated as he sent an attack at me and I jumped up and dodged the attack.
"You talk to much, you know that. Especially about my daughter." I growled as he then came to hit me with his staff again. It then shoved me back into a more opened battle field.
"Prehaps, but I still have the upper hand." Byro stated which made me growl.

Y/n's Pov...
Soon Midnight and that stupid staff stated something about Lapointe being a pawn. Until that quickly change when Imitatia stated that a magic energy was coming this way.
"Please let it be, Natsu." I sighed.
"It's not." Imitatia stated as Samuel came flying in the air towards me.
"I found you! Just as I calculated." Samuel yelled.
"Y/n, belongs to me! I won't let you have her." Imitatia stated as she walked in front of me.
"I'm so confused. I thought Samuel was on your side!" I exclaimed.
"That don't seem to be the case no longer, but it seems he intended to end your life now." Imitatia informed.
"What!" I exclaimed as I then watch Imitatia throw her weird flower thing out as it then hit Samuel. He then fell down.
"Huh. This is unexpected. The legion Platoon has turned on us. If I hadn't been here, you would've been killed." Imitatia informed.
"Thank you." I stated with a small smile. Soon my smile quickly faded as a pain soon shot up in my face. I winced in pain as my vision soon faded once more.

Gildarts's Pov...
Me and Byro kept on fighting as I continued to dodge the attack.
"Why won't you fight seriously?" Byro demanded.
"I don't want to risk the kiddos seeing it. You know. Because I'm about to turn you into a bloody mess for messing with my kid." I chuckled.
"You lack the skill." Byro stated.
"I was just warming up." I stated as I pulled my fist back and then slammed it right through his staff. My fist then hit Byro right in the face. He then slammed back against a small pillar of wall. He then winced in pain as I then continued, "Maybe your on to something. A good fight once in a while really gets the blood pumping. Especially since your threatening my daughter's life!"
