Chapter 29: Chariots

It was now officially day two of the Grand Magic Games. After the eventful day we had yesterday, it was now time for the first game of day two. The crowd was going crazy awaiting for the games to start. Apparently two of the announcers we're the same as Jenny was replaced by Jason from Sorcerer Weekly.

Apparently the first game of today was called Chariots. The rules were simple. First person that gets to the goal wins, but the only problem was that the Chariots was in motion and for some reason Natsu wanted to participate in the moving challenge and so did Gajeel.
Soon both Natsu, Gajeel and Sting was all sick. Raven Tail was in first place as Lamia Scale soon took off, then Mermaid Heel, and then Ichiya. All three was neck in neck as Bacchus was behind. He soon slammed his foot down, destroying the chariot he was on. He then took off making Lamia Scale, Blue Pegasus, and Mermaid Heel all go flying in the air. Bacchus then passed Raven Tail as slid into First Place. Then in second place was Raven Tail. Third was Mermaid Heel, and fourth was Lamia Scale, as fifth place was Blue Pegasus. The last three teams was both Fairy Tail and Sabertooth.

"God, there such losers!" I growled as I turned sideways.
"Calm down Y/n." Mira giggled.
"I knew me or you should've went Mira." I sighed as we watched Gajeel hit Natsu and Sting. Soon the crowd erupted in laughter.
"I'm just glad I'm no longer affected by it." I sighed.
"If it affected you then does it affect you, Laxus?" Mira asked as I turned and looked at him. A smile peirced my lips as I knew the answer.
"Yep." I giggled.
"Just don't let Natsu know. I'll never live it down." Laxus sighed.
"It's the one secret I never told him." I giggled.
"I probably wouldn't have admitted that if I was you." Juvia stated.
"What else have you told him?" Laxus asked.
"We'll talk about that later!" I giggled.
"Fine." Laxus sighed. I then turned back around and looked back at the Lacrima screen.
"I have to keep moving! I'm not gonna lose like this!" Natsu yelled through gasped of air trying to keep his motion sickness down.
"Just stop. Your making fools of yourself. Everyone can see you have no strength left." Sting stated as Natsu kept pushing himself.
"God this is what the world will view Natsu as for the rest of eternity." I sighed.
"It's okay Y/n. You would think that slow moving vehicles would make it more easier for Natsu." Mira stated as she rubbed my back.
"I know this because it's true! When I had very bad motion sickness I would find that slower moving vehicles made it easier for me to be able to walk off of what I was riding." I whined.
"Y/n got a point. Slower movie vehicles are less easier to walk on than fast ones." Laxus stated.
"See." I whined as I wilted onto the coliseum balcony wall that was in front of me.
"It's okay, Y/n." Mira and Juvia giggled. Soon Gajeel and Natsu begin to crawl.
"You guys can keep going. One stupid point isn't gonna change the outcome. We're just gonna keep gathering the points up until we win." Sting stated.
"One point means a lot more than you think kid! Don't forget it!" Gajeel stated as he looked back at Sting.
"I don't get it? Can you explain something to me, why you even bother entering the tournament? I mean come on, your nothing like the Fairy Tail I grew up with. Your obsessed with how tough you are and what all thinks of you! What happened to the Fairy Tail that did whatever the hell they wanted, never cared about what others think." Sting asked and stated.

"The reason we're here is for our friends, and my Sparks!" Natsu yelled through his motion sickness.
"Natsu." I stated as I stood up.
"The ones who waited for us all the years we we're gone! Who fought through the pain and the heartache! They we're humiliated, but even so they stayed strong! And they kept out guild together! And Y/n, she went day by day keeping the guild's reputation up until we lost seven years. Now She hears how much people think her family sucks! Hears how many people thought her home was a joke! Heard how many people thought she was weak because she was so popular in Sorcerer Weekly! But, she's not! She's stronger than they'll ever know! She's faced so much pain and suffering on her own that no one would understand! They would never understand how much her guild means to her! So we're doing this for them! We're gonna make sure everyone here knows! That the Fairy Tail Guild Never gave up and there's no way in a instance we're gonna give up now! And there's no way I'm not gonna give up now! She's cheering me on and I won't let her down!" Natsu yelled.
"Natsu." I cried.
"Natsu!" The guild cried.
"I'm cheering for you, Pyro. Make me proud!" I cried as I wiped away my tears.
"Aww. How kind." Mira stated with a smile.
"He really knows me so well." I cried with a smile.

Soon Natsu made it to sixth place as Gajeel made it to seventh. The crowd soon started cheering as Natsu and Gajeel both made the guild have some new fans.
"Way to go Natsu and Gajeel!" I yelled as I cupped my hands over my mouth.
"Thanks, Y/n." Natsu stated with a smile as he looked up at me.

Soon they showed the score board. Eight place was still Fairy Tail Team A and we got moved down to seventh due to the others Guild's getting more points than us. Mermaid Heel was in sixth, as Quatro Cerberus was in fifth. Fourth was Blue Pegasus as second place was tied with Lamia Scale and Sabertooth. First place was Raven Tail.
Natsu was in the infirmary as I just got done checking up on him. Wendy was healing just fine as Carla was now doing better. I then returned back to my teams as the battle round begin. I explained everything that was going on. They we're thrilled to here that Wendy and Carla was doing better. It was now time for the battle rounds.

The first round was Raven Tail's Black Snake Vs Lamia Scale's Toby Horhorta. The battle hadn't started yet as I felt that same creepy presence again. I turned around and looked behind me only to see nothing again. I quickly turned back around and looked around the Coliseum to see if I could find anyone looking at me. I quickly saw the guy with the mask in Raven Tail squeezing Flare's face. She had bruise and scratches all over her from where someone had beat her I gasped inside as I quickly was faced with the memories when I was kid. The intense beatings. The pain, the blood, the yelling. It all came back to me as I watched the guy in the mask look over at me. I quickly turned away as the first match begin. Toby then went to attack Black Snake. Apparently Black Snake uses mimic magic. Gramps cheered for Toby as he stated he would pay him a 100,000 in gold. Soon they struck a deal. If Toby won then Black Snake would have to tell Toby his real name. And if Black Snake won then Toby would have to tell him his biggest secret. Toby kept trying to attack Black Snake as the match was quickly over. The winner was Black Snake. Toby's secret was apparently he couldn't find his sock even though it was on a necklace around his neck. The crowd was so confused. I sighed in boredom as I looked over at Erza. She was wiping tears away.

Soon Black Snake held his hand out to Toby. Toby lifted his hand up as Black Snake soon grabbed the necklace. He then ripped the sock right in front of Toby. Toby balled even more as the crowd went silent. Soon Toby got off the Arena's ground as we begin round two of the battle rounds.
