ANGÈLE JOSÉPHINE MONET LAURENT CHASTIN - TOULOUSE, FRANCE 1968

The rest of the lunch went well, Ethan offered with clearing the table but instead was dragged away by Adrien who said he could help tomorrow instead, leaving the chores to his siblings. Alexandre and Angele stayed behind arranging the table and the kitchen. It was the least Angele could do considering she doesn't really help much with preparing the food in the first place.

"You like him?" Alexandre asked as they swam in the pool, well, she was just sitting on the steps of the pool, treading water.

"He's nice." She did like him, as a friend. She still had Julien, whom she loves dearly. "You don't like him?"

"He's okay."

Angele rolled her eyes. "You were shooting deadly looks at him the whole time."

"Yeah, well, I'm, I'm being cautious." He lied.

"I'm sure you are." She smirked and watched as him breaststroke towards her. He placed himself between her legs, holding her waist as he lifted her off the stairs. "What are you doing?" She asked, sheering panic in her voice.

"Swimming."

She shook her head. "Stop!" She tried to let loose, but it was too late, he had already brough her to the deep-end. "Don't you dare let me go!" She cried out loud and held him tightly, wrapping her arms around his neck and her legs around his waist.

"I won't!" He laughed. "Come on, hold the edge." He instructed, bring them towards the edge of the pool. She gripped onto the edge, trying to hold herself up as Alexandre was spotting her.

"Eh, oh! Vous faites quoi la?" Adrien's voice came from behind them. "Alex, why did you take her so far out?" He and Ethan had just arrived, and he was holding on of his bags, Ethan was no where do be seen so he was probably inside.

"Can we please not talk like I'm a dog?" She asked as she sighed and lifted herself out of the water, sitting on the edge. Adrien picked up her towel handing it to her before heading inside the house. She thanked him quietly and the towel around her shoulder looking at Alexandre who was fluttering his legs.

"He coddles you too much." Her twin pointed out, swimming back to her.

The twin rolled her eyes. "Like you don't do the same?" She smirked, flicking her foot at him, the water hitting his face.

He ignored her comment and pushed himself out of the water. "I'm gonna go dry off." He informed her, picking up his towel and drying his feet before walking inside. She stood up, strolling over towards the deck chair where she lied down and relaxed.

"Hey." She heard the familiar British accent.

She covered her face and managed to open her eyes. "Hey." She softly smiled.

He set down a blue towel on the deck chair next to hers. "Is it weird that I'm staying here? I hope it's not weird."
