ANGÈLE JOSÉPHINE MONET LAURENT CHASTIN - TOULOUSE, FRANCE 1968

She froze into place as she noticed the two black slip on shoes paired with white socks and grey slacks. She looked up and gasped, before grinning and jumped up, wrapping her arms around the tall body. "Julien!" She exclaimed feeling him wrap his arms around her waist spinning her around.

"Ange!" He beamed, setting her down letting her feet touch the ground.

"Oh mon dieu!" She laughed, placing her lips against his. She kissed him as if she'd been longing for his lips for years, pushing back the kiss with Ethan as if nothing had happened. "What are you doing here?" She smiled, cupping his cheeks, kissing him yet again.

"I came earlier than expected. I wanted to surprise you." He smiled as he brought her closer, removing the space between them.

"Earlier than expected?" She frowned.

He nodded. "I told your brothers to bring you here... I wanted it to be a visit after Saint Tropez." He explained.

"Wow~" She laughed, giving him one last kiss. "I missed you." She smiled.

Ethan soon crawled out of the fort, appearing in front of the couple. He couldn't help but realize how he, Julien, was her happiness. Her happiness she found with love. He pressed his lips together, exhaling, brushing away his thoughts. "Hi, I'm Ethan." He introduced himself.

"Ah, the famous British guest." Julien went to shake his hand and patted his back warmly. "I'm Julien."

"Yes, it's nice to meet you. I've heard so much about you." He replied.

"Only good things, I hope." Julien laughed.

Ethan felt awful, like he wanted to throw up. Julien seemed like a nice person, and he'd just preyed on his girlfriend. Angele gave him a weak smile before looking back up at her boyfriend, her eyes practically shining with glee. "I'm so happy you're here." She told him. "Now we can actually eat good food." She turned to Ethan who was lost in thought.

"Good food?" Julien laughed, dragging her attention away from the Brit. "I've just travelled for five hours and now I have to cook." He joked as he tapped her nose.

"Well, you're the only chef here." She pointed out, dragging him to the kitchen where he opened the fridge and started looking around. She walked out of the kitchen towards where Ethan was still standing looking like a lost puppy. "Come on." She said in a hushed tone bringing him towards the kitchen. She sat Ethan down at the small breakfast table in the kitchen and went to help Julien, tying her hair back so she could get down to business.

She couldn't help but feel guilty with every look she gave him. She wanted to break down into tears. She wanted to blurt it out then and there. This wasn't the same as when Alexandre kissed her. This time it was different. She'd never be able to speak about what happened with her twin to anyone which is why she got used to brushing matters about him under the rug. This, this kiss was different. She had to tell him.
