The next morning , Brandon woke up extremely early cause he wanted to cook breakfast for Diamond and Layla.

After he completed his daily routine, he made his way into the kitchen and started to make breakfast.

A few minutes had went by before Diamond made her way into the kitchen. As Brandon was flipping the bacon in the pan , he noticed that she was standing there.
He looked over at her and smiled widely.

"Goodmorning Babygirl, how'd you sleep?" He asked her. Diamond had looked as if she had a wild night . Her long hair was now sprawled all over her head .

"I slept good , daddy. Layla let me watch movies with her." Diamond said. Brandon let the bacon cook on its own and slowly walked over to Diamond. He knelt down to her and kissed her forehead .

"That's good to hear, baby. Now , go wash your face and brush your teeth. Breakfast will be ready soon." He told her , she nodded and walked back out of the kitchen.
Brandon turned around and took the bacon off of the stove.

He started on the pancakes , and moved effortlessly through the kitchen. Before he knew it breakfast was finished.

He called out to the girls and waited for them to come into the kitchen. He had already set out the plates and utensils for them. Once they came into the kitchen, Layla and Diamond sat in the high chairs that were apart of the bar in the kitchen counter.

"This looks amazing, Mr. Anthony. And it smells amazing too." Layla complimented as she took a seat. Brandon chuckled, and thanked her before he took a seat next to Diamond.

"Daddy, these pancakes look gooood." Diamond gushed as she stared at the food in awe, Brandon laughed at her before rubbing her back.

"Thanks Babygirl. Maybe when you get taller, I'll teach you how to cook too." He told her. Diamond widely smiled and nodded her head.

Brandon quickly blessed the food, then they all dug in. They all ate quietly before Brandon's home phone started to ring. He wiped his mouth before getting up and walked over to the Den and grabbed the phone and placed it to his ear.

"Hello?"

"Hey B, it's Lauren." a soft melodic voice spoke through the phone. Brandon softly smiled.

"Hey pretty lady, how'd you sleep last night?" he asked. He heard her slightly sigh, "I slept.. okay. I was just calling you because I wanted to thank you again for dinner."

"Oh, it's not a problem at all. Are you doing anything today?" He asked her, while turning to glance at his daughter, whom was stuffing her face with food.

"Uh, no. Not really." She answered.

"Well, do you want to hang out today?" Brandon asked her. He could hear her shuffling around before answering his question.

"Yeah, we can hang out. What do you have in mind?" 

Brandon grabbed the cord of the phone and wrapped it around his wrist, "I want to take you to the museum downtown and then maybe go to lunch?"  he offered. From her response, he could tell she was smiling.
