Ominous POV

As Brandon and Diamond arrived in Atlanta's airport. Brandon's older brother, Shaquan was there waiting on them.

Brandon and 'Quan', had a on and off relationship with one another, But when Quan heard that his little brother was in trouble and need to get out of harms way. He pushed all the bullshit aside and pulled through for Brandon.

"Hey lil bro." Quan greeted his brother, by dapping him up and they embraced one another. When they pulled away, Quan realized that Diamond was standing behind his brother's legs.

She was shy to meet her Uncle, because she never knew that she had an uncle.

Quan bent down and held his hand out towards Diamond. "Hey pretty girl. You must be Diamond. I'm your uncle Quan." he greeted her. She slowly let go of her dad's leg and walked up to Quan. She looked up at him with skeptical eyes, and instantly noticed that he meant no harm.

A small smile appeared on her face as she grabbed his hand. "Hi Uncle Quan." She softly greeted back.

"Alright, let's go y'all. Mama is waiting for us. She made a whole thanksgiving dinner for y'all." Quan said. Brandon grabbed their bags and followed his brother out of the Airport.

Once they got into the car and took off, Quan started to ask Brandon Questions.

"So wha-" he started but Brandon held up his hand before looking back at Diamond and seen that she was passed out sleep in the backseat. He softly smiled at her before turning back around.

"Sorry Quan, I don't like talking about anything in front of her. I don't need her to know anything." Brandon told his brother while giving him a stern look. Quan shook his head .

"She's gonna figure this shit out when she gets older B. You can't protect her forever, man." Quan said. Brandon sucked his teeth and turned to look out of his window, watching as other cars passed by.

"I know that. But, I want her to live her life as peaceful as possible. After Myra got on drugs, shits been hard. I gotta provide twice as much and cover my ass to make sure nothing touches my daughter. Shit got out of hand. " Brandon stated. Quan stayed silent for a few seconds.

"Well, you know sooner or later that shits gonna hit the fan, fam."

Brandon sighed, knowing that he would have to prepare for when that time would come.

"Anyways, how has ma been? How's your wife and kids been?" Brandon asked, trying to change the subject. Quan sighed before replying.

"Ma's been fine. She's getting old on us. Sadie and the kids are fine, of course. They're all excited to see you two, though."

Brandon softly smiled and nodded his head. "It just sucks that I gotta show up like this." He stated before quickly glancing at his brother .
