Dime's POV

All night I tossed and turned, unable to shake the message I received from Meech last night.

It was already morning and I had barely slept.

Sitting up, I sighed.

Grabbing my phone, I unlocked it and went to the thread between Meech and I.

678-323-1459: Dime?

Me: Who is this?

678-323-1459: It's Meech.

Me: What do you want?

678-323-1459: I know you don't want to talk to me but it's going on 3 months... I need you. I need you to talk to me. Where are you?

678-323-1459: Just tell me where you are, I'll come to you.

Me: Demetrius... that's not a good idea.

678-323-1459: Why not? I need to see you. To make sure you're okay at least. I want to make things right.

I didn't even reply to the last message. Locking my phone, I tossed it on the bed and got out of bed.

Making my way into the bathroom, I brushed my teeth and washed my face. After I was finished, I took off the pajamas that Amara lended me and put my sweatpants and hoodie back on. I grabbed the clothes and my phone and made my way out of the room.

The house was silent, letting me know that Amara and Layla were gone.

I sent a text to Amara letting her know that I was leaving. She quickly texted me back.

Amara🤍: Goodmorning Cousin! Okay, there's a spare key on the fireplace under the picture of us. Take it. Use it whenever. I love you. If you need me, just text/call me.

Me: Thank you. I love you too. Kiss LayLay for me.

I quickly texted back before locking my phone and shoving it into my pocket. I grabbed my purse and the keys, before walking out of the house. I made sure to lock the door before making my way to the truck.

Starting it up, Kiana Lede's voice played throughout the truck. I put in the address to the nearest mall before, I buckled the seatbelt before backing out of the driveway.

After arriving at the Galleria mall, I valeted the truck and made my way into the building. It was a bit more crowded than I thought, but I brushed it off and made my way into a boutique called Eye Candy Boutique. From all the colorful outfits, I knew I was in the right place.
