Claudia's POV

So the sun came up and I felt the ship not moving. We must be anchored. I hear footsteps approaching and sit up. Facing the bars as Barbossa appears with his first mate. "So are you going to talk?" he asks me.

"Where's Elizabeth?" I ask.

"Still not going to tell me your name Miss Smith?" he asks. I stay silent. "No matter, Ragetti remembered something from the night you arrived on this ship with Miss Turner. She called you Claudia" he states.

"So you know my first name, it's not going to help you" I tell him.

"True, but we're going to lift our curse tonight" he tells me. "Just waiting for the tide to change" he states.

"Don't forget our deal Barbossa, if I escape. You let Elizabeth and I go" I remind him.

"Of course, I'm a man of my word" he tells me. "I'll have some food sent down" he adds. Before leaving with his first mate. Soon Pintel and Ragetti appear. They gave me some food then started to clean the brig.

"Elizabeth ok?" I ask.

"Poppet is fine, locked in her room" Pintel states. At least she can't cause any trouble there. And the men won't touch her until the curse is lifted. But by then she and I will hopefully be long gone. I examine my cell discretely not wanting to draw attention to myself.

I notice the half pin barrel hinges. There's how I escape the cell. But I'll have to wait until they go to perform the ritual. Leaving the ship practically deserted. It'd be my best chance to escape. But I'd only have a small window of opportunity to get to Elizabeth before they realize she's not a Turner. Which may happen quickly.

I finish eating and the men finish cleaning. They didn't do a very good job. They took my late and left the brig. I look out a small hole looking at the horizon. Binding my time.

(Time skip)

I hear splashes and look out the hole to see them lowering long boats into the water. It's nearly time. Once they left I grab the bench I had been sitting on and use it to open the door. I go to the armory and find my sword. I strap it to my waist and grab two pistols. Before going above deck.

I notice a light on in a cabin and see two pirates. But they weren't focused on me. I head to the rail and carefully lower a long boat into the water. So it didn't make a sound. I them climb into it and untie the ropes. I row to shore.

I arrive to see Jack Sparrow unconscious. I ignore him and hear someone approaching. I draw my sword and point it at a young man with brown hair. "Don't" Elizabeth whispers. "He's here to help us" she states.

"Then lets go quickly" I tell them. "Grab the oars" I add before getting in the boat I had been in. They soon join me and the man rows us away. "So who is he?" I ask Elizabeth.

"Will Turner" she answer. Ah, so he's the one they're after. They must be close friends for her to protect him the way she did. We soon reach the Interceptor and I frown in confusion. Why is it here? If James had come after us on it, he would of been on the island. Elizabeth goes up first. "Not more pirates" she mutters.

I join her and see about a dozen pirates. "Welcome aboard, Miss Elizabeth" one says. "And miss" he says looking at me. Why does he look familiar?

"Claudia" I state.

"Mr Gibbs?" Elizabeth asks. Oh that's why he looks familiar. He used to work in the navy.

"Hey boy, where be Jack?" he asks Will. As he joins us.

"Jack, Jack Sparrow?" Elizabeth asks.

"He fell behind" Will states. More like you knocked him unconscious and left him.

"Keep to the code" Gibbs tells the crew.

"Weigh anchor! Hoist the sails! Split-quick, you dibbies!" a woman orders. Will takes Elizabeth below to treat her hand.

"You're Norrington's older sister right?" Gibbs asks me.

"Yes" I say. "I trust you are taking us back to Port Royal" I say.

"Aye" he says nodding his head.

"Good, I'll give you coordinates on where to anchor. Then Will, Elizabeth and I will row to the dock" I state.

"You'd let us go?" he asks me.

"You saved us, I figure it gives you a head start before I send the navy after you" I tell him. "You'll have until we reach the fort to get as far away as possible" I state.

"Seems fair" he says nodding his head. We go to the helm where the girl is steering. "This is Anna-maria" he tells me.

"Pleasure" I say. "I take it you both are in charge while Sparrow is gone" I say. They nod their heads. "I suggest full sail, it won't be long until they come after us" I tell them. Annamaria gives the order and I lean on the rail watching the crew work. They maybe pirates, but they're descent sailors and officiant workers.
