Part Two

Y/n's POV:
You and Javon were both sat in the back of the car whilst his dad drove to the gym, there was silence but it wasn't awkward it was comfortable. Every now and again Dj would ask questions like "where do you come from" or "what school do you go to" you were fine with this and so was Javon as you got to know more about each other
"So what's your last name y/n?"he asked to break the silence
"Y/l/n, y/n y/l/n"
"Really?, is your dad Jonah Y/l/n?" He asked sounding surprised
"Uhm yeah he is why?"
"He's training my daughter jayla at the gym right now, I've been good friends with him since high school years ago" he sounded pleased saying this
You looked at Javon surprised and he returned the look.
"We should be able to see him there then"
After another 3 minutes of silence we arrived and I helped carry the equipment in for them.
As soon as we walked in I saw my dad and the girl who I'm assuming is jayla.
"Jonah!, what's up?" Dj shouted
"Dj! I haven't seen you in years, but why is my daughter with you, are you ok y/n"
"Yeah I'm great I met Javon when I went for breakfast and they offered to bring me here"

Javons POV:
Whilst my dad and y/n's dad were catching up I asked Y/n if she wanted to warm up with me
She said she'd love to which made my heart beat faster for a second, I feel very nervous around her now but decided to keep it low.
"Let's do 2 km on the treadmill to start" she said
"I bet I can run faster than you" I said joking
"We can always find out by seeing who finishes the fastest"
"Bet" I said, there is no way I'm going to loose now.
I was now half way through my 2km and I was trying to keep up a fast pace while looking over at y/n's progress I saw that she was .1 of a km behind me so I cockily said
"Whoever looses has to do 50 pushups"
"You think your gonna win? She said completely fine like she hadn't been running at all
On the other hand I was breathing hard trying to reply
"I'm in the lead so yeah I think I will" I said out of breath laughing.
Just then she increased her speed, I tried to run faster but my legs couldn't keep up with my body. After another 8 minutes I looked over to see her with only .2 km left whilst I had .5 I couldn't bear to loose so I increased my speed with a new mindset and a lot more adrenaline, she looked over at me and we were head to head, but just as I looked back at my machine in started beeping indicating that I had won.
"I WON" I shouted whilst she stopped running to hide her face
"Hey don't be embarrassed that I'm faster than you" I said and she broke out laughing
"Now you have to do 50 pushups I said smiling"
"I just finished my run" she said catching her breathe looking at me like I'm crazy
"Take the L y/l/n you can do 25 instead"
She walked away from me and started doing the pushups whilst I mocked her trying to make her laugh so she'd mess up.
When she was getting to the end of them she was struggling to get back up so I went over to help her push herself back up, the only thing is, is that I caught her blushing...does she like me? No she wouldn't like me she's probably just hot from the warm up. But I know I like her I just hope I don't mess things up.

Y/n's POV:
Now that me and jav have finished our warmup we went over to our dads to get ready to properly train, they looked surprised when they saw us
"You two seem to be getting on well" my dad said
We looked at each other and started laughing, but to be honest we had only known each other for an hour and it felt like we had been friends for years, I had never been more happier
"I beat her in a race so she had to do 25 pushups" Javon said wheezing, I did not look impressed with myself when he said this which made him stop laughing so much.
"Ok guys you can calm down now, I'm going to train you Javon" said my dad
"I have some new drills that we could use to improve your foot placement and your reflexes, whilst y/n can train with jayla and Dj" on strength training, sound good?"
"Yeah" we both said in unison and I headed of with Dj to train with them.
After an hour and a half of constant pull ups, sit ups, crunches, squats and weighted squats I was done but I had a lot more energy than before so I went to get a drink and watch my dad and Javon train.
This was a bad idea as when I went to sit down he was shirtless practicing his punches and I was just sat there staring, luckily he didn't notice ,thank god. But my dad on the other hand was laughing at me, which helped me peel my eyes away from jav and give him a death stare.

It was only another half an hour until we all decided that we had enough and gathered together to talk, my dad was talking about the camping trip my family were going on later, I was dreading it not because I didn't want to go but I wanted to stay with Javon, we were having so much fun together it felt like a dream, things like this don't happen to people like me.
Then surprising me my dad saw that I was having a lot of fun with Javon and texted me secretly asking if I want him to ask them if Javon and their siblings want to come. I immediately texted yes my head already exploring how much fun that would be.
"I was thinking if they are available if Javon, jayla and their siblings want to come camping with us, your whole family can come it would be a great way to catch up with each other better?"my dad asked kindly
"Javon...jayla? What do you think?"
I looked over to them to see smiles from ear to ear on their faces which gave me hope
"Please dad let us go" they asked
"It looks like we have some takers for the camping trip thank you very much Jonah When are you leaving?"
"We are leaving at 3 o'clock today" I can pick them up I know you have two other siblings from jayla, tell me, what were their names again?"
"Jaden who is my twin and our little brother Daelo" Javon said quite quickly. I could tell he was excited by this and the look on his face.
And I was certainly excited as well, before we all went our separate ways me and Javon exchanged phone numbers so we could text each other about the trip, we were both so happy that we would spend a whole week with each other, so much would happen that we were yet to know about.
