Part 11

Jadens pov:
Once again everyone is gathered around the campfire, I'm sat in between y/n and Javon.
Whilst eating the food we got from the grocery store earlier on, which is really nice, Javon asks if he can speak to me over in my tent, I agree half scared that this was going to be another prank but intrigued about what he wants to say.
"Can me and Javon go and set up the screen for the movie?" I ask her mom
"Of course you can as long as your finished, thank you for helping" she said
With that me and Javon got up and went over to our tents to get it to set up while he talks to me
"What do you want to talk about" I ask
"Well I haven't told anyone yet so you have to swear on my life that you will not tell anyone, I'm only telling you because I trust you" he said, this sounds quite serious, Javon never needs to tell me secrets this important.
"Yeah ok I won't tell anyone I swear on my life, is it good or bad" I ask
"Well i don't know yet it could be amazing or it could be the worst thing that's ever happened to me" he said
"Sooo..... what is it?" I replied getting impatient not knowing what it is
He comes closer to me making sure no one would hear him
"I like y/n" he whispered as I looked at his face I could see him turning red for the 100th time
"Seriously?!........what are you gonna do about it?" I say half shocked but not that surprised me and jayla always had our suspicions
"That's why I'm telling you because I don't know what to do, what if I tell her and she doesn't like me like that, it would be awkward and I don't Want to mess up the friendship we have right now, but this secret is killing me I don't Know how long I can keep my mouth shut for" he said rushed and confused
"What if I talk to her and ask her if she likes you and then if she admits that she does you can make some kind of grand gesture?" I say wanting to help my brother since I know how important this is to him 
"That's a really good idea but what if she tells you she doesn't like me like that?" He replies
"The chances of that are low, me and jayla have been suspicious of you two, you should see the way you are with each other, it's kinda obvious but if she says she doesn't then at least you don't loose her as a friend" I say
"Thank you so much I knew I could trust you" he says whilst we finish up hanging the screen and setting up the projector, we are having a movie night tonight, I think this would be a great opportunity for Javon to make the first move on y/n
"Do you want me to ask her now because this would be the perfect opportunity for you to confess" I ask
"Yeah ok just make sure no one hears, thank you again" he says and with that we head back ti the campfire and tell them that it's done
