Clarke POV

I rush forward, the sword in my hand trying to get through Sion's block. Sion has significantly increased my training intensity today, the difficulty the most. She tries to teach me as much as possible in very less time.

I attack Sion again but this time her block lets me stagger back. Sion uses her opportunity and attacks and this time I have to block. She forces me back with every strike. At one point she breaks my block and unarms me. We are both panting by now. She lowers her sword and signals me to grab mine. I would rather have a break now but it looks like Sion isn't planning on making one. A thought appears in my mind to gain some time.

"So Raven and you, what's going on between you two?" I ask her.

Sion's eyes widen. "What do you mean?"

"Oh c'mon, you two spent quite some time together the last couple of days." I answer.

"Nothing is between us, if that's what you want to know." Sion tells me.

I can't hold back the smirk that's building up in my face.

Sion soon realizes what I have done. "How dare you using my own weapons against me?"

I start to laugh and Sion starts too. We can't stop for a long time. As we finally do so I even have to wipe a small tear from laughing away.

"But it feels like we will have a very good friendship." Sion adds. I nod. I have this feeling too with Sion. She is always here to train and most important to help.

A strange feeling hits me. I can't really say what it is but it is bothering me. Sion notices it too.

She looks around. "We are being watched." Now that Sion said it, I can finally place this feeling I am having.

Suddenly seven warriors step out of the shadows of the forest around the training ground. I recognize that they are Azgeda warriors.

Sion takes her second sword into her left hand. "Get behind me, Clarke. They want you." I do what she told me to do and get behind her. She gets into defensive position ready to fight.

Nothing happens at first because no one makes the first move. Sion and I start to move back a bit as the warriors start to make a half circle around us. The first attack happens on the left side. One warrior tries to cut Sion into two halfes with an overhead strike, but Sion just leans back a bit, holds his sword down with her left sword and kills him with a stab from the right one into his heart.

Out of the corner of my right eye I see a warrior about to attack Sion. I want to warn her but she already noticed him and blocks his strike with one fluid move. He stumbles back when the force of his strike getting stopped so immediate. Sion doesn't hesitate and kills him.

The rest of the assassins look at each other and nod. Four of them start to attack Sion at the same time but she blocks every strike.

The only warrior who doesn't fight with Sion uses this situation to get to me. I go a few steps back but he follows me. I hear a scream and see that one of the four Azgeda warriors who is fighting with Sion just got hit into his arm.

My look goes back to the assassin in front of me. He can't be much older than me. I see the nervousness in his eyes. This is probably one of his first missions. Another scream goes through the training spot as the warrior, who got hit previously from Sion, got stabbed in the stomach by her. I notice that the warrior in front of me looks at his mate who just got killed so I use this opportunity and attack to his surprise.

He blocks all of my strikes but I force him back a bit. I have to stop for a second and catch my breath. We start to circle each other. He attacks me but I block his strikes. He isn't as good as the level Sion used to train with me the last few hours.
