Lexa POV

I look down to Clarke. "Hello Clarke." I say with a soft voice. The longer I look at her I notice that she has got bruises all over her face. "The deal was for you to bring her unharmed." My eyes wander to the man behind Clarke.

"She didn't come easy." he answers. "I expect not." I reply, my eyes already back at Clarke. "I've done my part, now do yours. Left my banishment."

I look up to the man after he finished his sentence. "I am told your mother's army marches on Polis." I say looking straight into his eyes. "That has nothing to do with me honour our deal." he responds.

He dares to speak like this to me in my throne room. But I have to stay calm. "I'll honour our deal when your queen honours my coalition. Lock prince Roan of Azgeda away!" My guards step forward and take Roan out of my room.

I tell the rest of the people in the room to leave as well also Titus and Indra, who stood next to me. "Help her up." I order. 2 of my guards come back and help Clarke up.

"I am sorry." I remove the gag out of her mouth. "Did have to be this way. Wanheda can't fall into the hands of the Ice Queen. War is brewing Clarke. I need you." As soon as I finished my sentence Clarke spits into my face

"You Bitch!" she screams "You wanted the Commander of Death?! You got her! I will kill you!" I can hear her screams while my guards are dragging her to her room. I wipe the spit out of my face. I fight tears back that come up. I take a few deep breathes while I am walking to the balcony of my throne room. As I walk outside I look at the landscape trying to calm myself down. I lean at the railing of the balcony. I can hear someone enter the balcony.

"Did you really expect something different." It's a female voice, who asks me this question. I close my eyes for a second. The person comes up to me and leans on the railing to the left of me.

I sigh "I did expect her to be angry at my but not that...that she hates me like this." I feel tears come up again. But I fight them back. I am the Commander I have to control myself.

"You left her when she probably needed you the most Lexa. I would lie if I said I wouldn't act the same." I look to my left. A woman nearly the same age as I stands next to me. I have known her for almost my whole life. Her short light brown hair hangs from the left side of her right-turned head. Her crystal blue eyes are looking at me.

I sigh again. I feel her hand at my back trying to comfort me. "If she has the same feelings for you as you have for her you two will find together again. Give her time Lexa. Give her time."

I hear her leaving me. The footsteps got more silent and the moment I couldn't hear them anymore I let a tear out of my eye.
