We walked back into the house and Liam made the announcement. "Kate's coming with us on our tour to America!"
I heard a few 'yay's. They were back in Niall's room. Liam just made the announcement to the whole house, not knowing to where the boys were. We walked in Niall's room and we were eyed suspiciously. "What?" Liam finally asked.
Harry tilted his head. "What took so long? You two were gone for at least an hour."
"Jealous Harry?" Liam teased. Harry raised his eyebrow. "I'm kidding. I was just talking to her about things. That's all."
Niall took his part in the jealousy too. "Things like what?"
Liam didn't know what to say so I helped him out. "He was just saying to not take my frustration out on myself, although I wouldn't. He was just making sure. He started talking about the upcoming tour and then invited me. When are you guys leaving?" I asked, trying to change the subject.
Zayn spoke up. "We're leaving in 2 days. Saturday."
I was surprised. "Oh. I should start packing. After all, I'm a girl and take a little longer to pack." I winked and turned around.
"I'll help you!" Harry suggested.
I turned around. "No Harry. I um. I'm fine. Liam already volunteered. Thanks anyway."
Liam and I walked out of Niall's house and Liam tools the driver's seat of my car as I sat in the passenger's seat.
"Sorry for doing that. I really needed help and I didn't want it from Harry. Besides, I wanted to spend more time alone with you." I told him.
"Oh no. It's okay, Kate. I'm fine with it, I want to spend time with you too but you know it's not going to be a make out session all the time." he winked at me.
I blushed, thinking back to our kiss. "I know. You have dignity that you'd like to keep. I'm not pressuring you. Harry practically just wanted to make out with me all the time but I told him no."
Liam laughed. "Well I understand why. You have a gift with that tongue of yours!"
I gasped. "Liam!" I playfully hit him on the arm.
He acted as if it hurt. "Ouch! Hey! I'm just speaking the truth."
I blushed. "Aw, well you're pretty talented yourself!"
We finally arrived back to where I was staying so I could grab the stuff I had there. My small babysitting job was over this morning, after I dropped the girls off for school.
I walked in the house and returned the key. Suzy and Phillip gave me the money they supposably 'owed' me. Liam helped me gather my things from the guest room.
"Dang! You have a lot of things here. Are you sure you didn't just move in?" Liam questioned, laughing at how much stuff I had brought there.
"Hey! I stayed here for two months! Plus I'm a girl and need my supplies that I need!" I defended myself.
"Oh sorry. I didn't think about your unmentionables." Liam said, picking up a box of tampons and placing them into my bag.
"No! Not that! Well yes that too! I was talking about my hair styling equipment and makeup. Stuff like that!" I quietly shouted, frustrated.
He laughed. "Aw, no. You don't need those things! You're perfect the way you are." he commented.
I blushed. "You're so sweet, Liam. I don't think Harry has ever complimented me like that before."
He acted like he was offended. "Well I'm not like Harry, as you can tell."
I smiled at his cuteness and we continued collecting my things from Suzy and Phillip's household. Liam carried all my bags out to the car as I was talking to Suzy, what a gentleman.
