Sapphirekit~
Sprinting out of the Nursery, I can feel the worry rising up, almost to Sapphirekit's throat.
Is Phoenixpaw okay? This was his first battle.. Where is Stormstrike? He'll be alright, he's deputy, he had to be! Sapphirekit thought, shaking her head.
Of course he'll be alright, silly! Stormstrike is strong, like Phoenixpaw and the warrior code tells us not to kill each other! Sapphirekit reassure herself, smiling a little.
"Phoenixpaw!" Sapphirekit meowed, running up to him, looking at his injuries. He has a large bloody gash on his neck, though I don't think its too deep. He quickly sheathed his claws, which had stained blood on them.
"Hey, er, wanna eat something?" He asked, as I frown, shaking my head.
"I wanna check on Stormstrike. Bluefoot says he's the strongest cat in the whole forest!" Sapphirekit squeaks, running up towards the SolarClan cats who were coming back from the battle.
Yet, three of them were dragging a blue gray tomcat... Known as Stormstrike.
"You didn't tell me." She meows, her voice barely a whisper, knowing the new apprentice was behind her.
He deliberately wanted to distract me so I couldn't see my father's burial. Sapphirekit thinks, feeling anger rise, as she tries to push it back.
Turning away from Phoenixpaw, Sapphirekit saw Stormstrike's and Fleetfoot's unwavering bodies lying in the middle.
I will remember you... Were these deaths even worth it for some sun basking rocks?! Sapphirekit thought bitterly.
"Who did this?" Bluefoot, demanded.
"D-Deadtooth." Lionflame stuttered. Better watch out, Deadtooth. Soon, I'll get my revenge! Sapphirekit thought, unsheathing her claws.
"My kit! That isn't positive speaking. . I'm watching you above, though you don't know how proud I am when you will become an apprentice, even though I will never be there..." A familiar voice whispered in my ear, as Sapphirekit's eyes widen.
"Stormstrike?" I whisper outloud, though I think no cat hears me.
"Count your stars well, my child, for you will shine like flames in golden light. .." Stormstrike whispered into my ear, from our starry warrior ancestors.
"Sapphirekit, he's not coming back. Ever." Bluefoot growls, though I know she is just grief stricken from her mate's death.
As I go back to the Nursery, I see there are no kits in there. I sigh.
"Please watch over to Stormstrike, ShineClan. . ." I say, even though I am positive ShineClan, our warrior ancestors already have.
