Jay and Heeseung have been married for 2 years now and have been dating since they were 19 years old. They were both 26 years old and had a brilliant career ahead of them.

Jay was the CEO of his father's company while Heeseung was the vice CEO of this same company. There weren't any tensions within their relationship however Heeseung could feel that Jay was becoming distant as days passed by.

He did not really understood why but he just assumed that it has to do with work. In fact it really wasn't but Heeseung had kind of enough of his husband's behavior.

He was waiting for him, carefully working on his laptop since he was mostly working at home after his feet surgery he got last month. When Jay came back from his work he could feel that the atmosphere was kinda tense and when his eyes landed on his husband he feel a shiver running down his spine.

-" I'm home ! "

-" Yeah I heard it. "

It's gonna be a great evening ...
Jay didn't say anything back and made his way to the kitchen.

-" Why are you so cold these days ? "

-" I'm sorry ? Did you heard how you talk to me when
I've just got back home ? "

-" It's been weeks since we last have an intimate moment or just a simple peck ?! I'm talking in the same way as you treated me this whole week. "

Saying that Jay was taken aback was an understatement, he was indeed schoked but he couldn't bring himself to tell what he wanted to Heeseung.

-" What's wrong Jonseong-ah ? I'm here for you, you know that you can tell me anything. "

-" I'm not scared that you will get mad or anything but ... I don't know ... I just feel like you won't agree anyway. "

-" Tell me Jay, we're married for a reason. "

Heeseung took Jay's hands into his and rubbed them gently while looking straight into his eyes.

-" I want to adopt a kid. "

This wasn't what Heeseung expected but he felt so relieved.

-" Oh God you scared me... I thought you wanted to get a divorce. "

-" So you're not against it ? "

-" No it would be great. I would love to see a little kid running in this big house. "

They talked about adopting a child all night and the matter was now settled. They were going as soon as possible in a orphanage to see if they can make a request to adopt a child

Months passed by and Jay and Heeseung had prepared all the documents needed to adopt a kid. Jay was really excited but Heeseung started to doubt about it a little bit more. They had an appointment to an adoption center to meet some kids and hopefully found the one who will change their lives for the better.

Jay was super excited that it was abnormal in Heeseung's eyes, he never saw the younger so excited to meet someone and especially kids but he was cute so he didn't tease him. In front of the orphanage a pretty and young woman waited for them, she was one of the volunteers working here around these young kids to give them a semblance of normal life.
