Pluto Projector [HEEJAY + JAKE]

A young boy arrived in front of Sunoo and Sunghoon's front door with a social worker. On one hand he was holding his suitcase, in the other he refused to let go of his Shinee's posters.

Sunghoon was the one to open the front door and was left by the child piercing eyes. Well, he didn't seem very friendly. He let him and the social worker entered his house while Sunoo ran down the stairs.

He stood by Sunghoon's side and bowed before introducing himself and Sunghoon.

-« Riki can you introduce yourself please ? »

-« No. I thought we were going to my parents place... Where are they ?! »

The social worker explained to him that Sunoo and Sunghoon will take care of him for some time and then he would be able to meet his parents again. This Riki child looked like he was close to burst into anger and that's basically how the social worker left them with a bomb between their hands.

-« I'm going to show you your room. »

Sunghoon took Riki suitcase and waited for him to complied and follow him to his room. The pre-teen took some time to think but followed anyway.

-« If you need something we're in the living room. »

Riki nodded. He didn't know what he should do with his packed clothes ... probably unpack them but he couldn't bring himself to do it.

-« Do you need help to unpack ? »

Sunoo was resting his back against the door frame, Riki nodded and Sunoo helped him. The young boy reminded him of Jake, awfully quiet but he could sense that their personality were different but quite close.

-« Sunghoon and I have a nephew called Jake well we only know him for less than 2 weeks now but I'm sure you'll love him. He is really bubbly. »

-« He is a newborn. I don't like babies. »

-« Oh no, he's three ... I mean he is small but still he is bubbly. »

-« Three ? But why do you only know him since such a short time ? »

-« Because my friends adopted them two weeks ago. He doesn't talk much because he went through things before being adopted but you'll see he's the cutest. »

-« He has been through what things ? »

-« His father was mean but he is fine now. »

-« Do you think I will see my parents again ? »

Sunoo was taken aback by the question, he clearly wasn't prepared and didn't know how to answer.

-« You know sometimes it's better to get off of some people. I don't know why you were placed in the system but it was for your own good. »

Riki hummed clearly bothered by Sunoo's answer, as much as he seemed nice he did not wanted to be here especially when his ugly husband looked so mean.

-« I don't wanna be here. I don't want to be a son to you or to your husband just because you can't adopt a child. I have my own family ! »

Riki sudden outburst surprised Sunoo to say the least.

-« Listen Kiddo, you're under my house and under my care whether you like it or not. By now you better have to behave if you really want to see your parents again. »

Sunoo who was still shocked by Riki's word could feel his mouth grew wider when he heard what Sunghoon said. Was he really dumb ?

He stood up grab his boyfriend wrist and walk as far as he could from Riki and his room.

-« Why did you say such things ?! Do you realize that it was extremely wrong ?! »

-« And why did you let him insult you like that ?! He is a child and he need to be taught how to behave in front of older people and I know you didn't like what he said about adopting a kid... »

-« I don't want to adopt a child. »

-« Stop lying ! I see you every time Jake is here, I have saw how much you envy Jay and Heeseung Hyung and I know that you said you don't want only because I don't feel ready yet. »

He was right. Sunghoon was awfully right and it killed him but what can he do about it ? Scream ? Cry ? No. It would be way to childish so he walked away and went back into Riki's room.

-« So have you finished to unpack or do you still need help ? »

Riki jolted to face Sunoo and the child bowed immediately.

-« I'm sorry Sunoo hyung. I didn't mean what I said, I'm very sorry please I won't do it again. Don't be mad at me please ... don't be too mean. »

Sunoo was lost, he didn't know what to say and didn't bother to say anything too scared to hurt Ni-Ki's feelings. He rather let the young boy hug him tightly and rubbed his back slowly.

-« You're safe here Riki. No one will be mean with you and no one will hurt you as long as me and Sunghoon are here. »

Riki nodded against Sunoo's chest, drying the tears that didn't fall but he quickly let go of Sunoo when the door bell suddenly rang.

-« It must be Jake. »

And indeed it was, Riki went to the living room with Sunoo and he saw a little boy running into Sunghoon's legs. The little boy then looked curiously at Riki, he never saw a child that tall. Of course his Sunghoon's uncle was tall but he was an adult however Riki was a kid and he was so tall.

-« Jakey this is Riki. He's your new playmate, it's fun right ? »

Riki did not really wanted to be this baby's playmate but he seemed nice and not really loud. And he really reminded him of his little sister.

What he assumed to be Jake's dad told Sunoo that he will be back in less than 3 hours and proceed to kiss the toddler's cheek.

-« Bluey ! »

-« You want to watch Bluey Jakey ? »

Jake nodded and Sunoo proceed to put the show on the tv. Riki did not really paid attention at first but damn this show about Australian dogs are so cool.

Riki was already sat on the couch but he felt little Jake sat beside him, episodes and minutes passed by and soon Riki felt Jakey's head on his arm. He was gently sucking on his thumb and Riki knew that he would fall asleep soon just like his little sister when she was younger.

-« Mom ! Dad ! Bingo ! BluEY ! »

He was adorable singing along the opening which make Riki chuckled but soon he couldn't hear the little boy sing nor feel him dance when the opening appeared on the screen.

-« Jake is asleep ? »

-« I think so. He stopped singing and dancing awhile ago. »

-« I'm going to lay him down in my room. You can change the show if you want. »

Riki smiled for one of the first time in the day.

-« No it's alright I quite like Bluey now. »
