Pluto Projector [HEEJAY + JAKE]

The evening came soon and the little family ate the leftover they didn't eat at lunch. Jake was being anxious when came to bed time but didn't dare to show it. He didn't want to be seen as a crybaby in front of his new parents on the first day.

He delayed as much as he can bedtime by playing with his new toys and watching cartoons with Jay but soon Heeseung came with a kid book in his hands and Jake knew it ... he had to go to bed.

He tried to make up his mind by telling himself that everything was going to be alright, his plushies was there, his daddies were there too so there were no use to be that stressed, right ?

Heeseung tucked him to bed not realizing that Jake was a bit off and agitated at the same time. He told him that if he needed to use the bathroom they were right next to his room, that if he trouble sleeping he could wake either him or Jay up and if Jake wanted Heeseung could leave a night light on to reassure him.

Jake wasn't quite sure if a night light would really reassure him but he agreed anyway. Heeseung read him a story and Jake found it soothing and fell asleep quite easily. When Heeseung realized that Jake wasn't listening anymore he put the covers up to his chin and kissed his both of his cheeks before leaving the room.

When Heeseung came back into the livingroom he found Jay finishing the wash the dishes.

-" He's already asleep ? "

-" Yeah I didn't even read half of the book that he was already in dreamland. "

Jay chuckled before drying his hands. He gently pecked the older lips before throwing himself on the couch.

-" This day was so tiring... thank God we're not working tomorrow. "

The couple watched a movie before going to bed near 11pm Jake was already asleep for two hours and when they peeked up inside of the room he seemed quite peaceful.

Jay had trouble sleeping this night. He left the shared room and went to the kitchen, he grabbed a glass and poured water in it. Everything was calm in the house but suddenly loud sobs echoed from Jake's room. Jake had never run so fastly, when he barged into Jake's room Jay threw himself on his knee before pulling the little boy in his embrace.

He was confused about what was happening but Jake was sobbing so hard that he had trouble breathing. Heeseung soon barged into the room, totally worried about what was going on.

-" Jay what happened ? "

-" I don't know... I went to drink water and he began to cry. "

Jake was gripping onto Jay's shirt so hard and it was kinda hurting him but Jay didn't care, his little boy needed to calm down.

-" Stop crying Jakey, Daddies are here. We'll protect you, you don't have to be scared anymore. "

After half an hour, Jake sobs began to slow down and he was less shaky.

-" I'll clean him up Seungie. Can you change his sheets
please ? "

Jake was sweaty and had an accident which Jay didn't tell him because he knew he would just stress him out more. Jay picked him up and went to the bathroom, Jaeyun refused to let go of him and began to sob again when Jay had to fill the tub with water. So he kept him close in his embrace and open the tap to make the water flow, he could feel Jake wetting his shirt with his tears and it broke his heart. He probably had such a bad dream to be that much scared.
