Pluto Projector [HEEJAY + JAKE]

The couple entered the house with a sleeping Jake in their arms. They did not want to wake him up because it was such an exhausting morning he had to live today.

-" You can put him in his bed Hee', he'll be more
comfortable. "

-" No I'm gonna sit on the couch and keep him close to my chest, he's gonna be frightened if he wake up all alone in an unfamiliar place. "

Jay hummed in agreement and Heeseung just took off his coat before sitting down on the couch while brushing some strands of hair away from Jake's face.

He never dreamt of having a kid and never thought he was going to have one but he was grateful. While he was brushing his baby's hair he found what seemed to be a fresh bruise.

-" I'll have to take of that later... "

Jake looked peaceful while sleeping which relieved him, he won't have much trouble during nights. Sunoo and Sunghoon told him and Jay that child suffering from severe trauma could have some troubles sleeping peacefully without having any nightmares.

-" It's nearly lunch time love, don't you think we should wake him up so he won't be sleepy while eating ? "

Jay was cooking whatever he had found in the fridge. Probably something really simple since they did not went on shopping groceries in a while.

-" Baby you have to wake up ... "

He patted gently Jake's back and talk soothingly to not wake him up abruptly and it worked. Jake woke up slowly while rubbing his eyes because of light. He first thing he saw was Heeseung smiling at him and everything was now alright.

-" Did my baby had a good
nap ? "

Jake nodded his head not used to hear such a gentle voice from an adult and not used to hear someone calling him baby. He knew that a mother and a father were supposed to call their child like that but he never heard his biological parents calling him like that. He was quite glad to hear it from someone though.

-" Should we visit the house before lunch ? What do you think ? "

Once again Jake nodded and Heeseung picked him up showing him every room and especially his. They painted in a very pastel yellow color and bunch of unopened toy's boxes were waiting for him on his bed. The sheets were colored in a baby blue tone with animals and dinosaurs on it. Jake found his room beautiful but he knew for sure that he won't be able to sleep well.

Maybe he had a peacefull nap and Heeseung believed that he doesn't have any nightmares but the reality is far from here.

Jake does not frequently have nightmares but he does have night terrors almost 2 or 3 times a week. It was exhausting for the young boy because he was well-aware of what was happening to him.

Heeseung asked him if he would like to change into pajamas to be more comfortable and Jake agreed. His clothes were a bit too small and kind lf dirty and the pajama was really cute. It has a dinosaurs pattern, the same dinosaur as the one he had in plushie.

While dressing Jake up, Heeseung could see more bruises on his body. These kids didn't go easy on him and it honestly pained the older a lot.

-" Let's get food in your tummy. Daddy Jay made spaghetti, do you like that ? "

-" yes ... like that "

Once again it almost sounded like a whisper but Heeseung still managed to heard it.

-" Oh my sweet boy. You're making such big efforts today. I'm proud of you. "

Both of them went to the dining room and let's just say that Jake did not really understand while the table was so big and so long for only few people. Jay was already sitting, he was wearing regular clothes which makes him a little bit less intimidating knowing that Jake has always saw him wearing a black suit. Jake was really small for his age and didn't fit on a chair, Heeseung and Jay didn't even think about buying a booster seat for a chair, they give each other a look and mentally agreed on make the little boy sit on one of the adults laps.

-" Jake go sit on daddy's lap, he'll help you to eat. "

Daddy ? But which one ? Heeseung didn't specify the name and it confused Jake a lot so he didn't move even when Heeseung went to sit on his seat.

-" What's wrong Jake ? "

Jake was still confused on whuch one of his daddy he should head to. It tooks minutes for Heeseung to figure out why Jake wasn't moving.

-" I was talking about Daddy Jay sweetheart. Go sit with him. "

Jake nodded his head lightly and walked slowly toward Jay. He was still intimidating for the little boy so Jake was extra silent now. Jay put him on his lap and make sure his was all comfortable and safe, the dinner went well Jake ate a lot and was really happy with what he was eating while Jay and Heeseung made plans about what they were going to do during this week.

They both took a week off from work to fully focus on Jake and make sure he could integrate himself well in his new environment.
After they were finishing eating his meal Heeseung brought a cake and light up candles. It wasn't any of their birthday but they wanted to celebrate Jake's arrival in their family.

It was a simple chocolate cake with some edible glitters and fish drawing. Jake found it pretty. Jay cut a slice and put him in how own plate before feeding Jake like he previously did, of course the kid was able to eat by himself but now that he had his long-wanted child he was going to spoil him a little.

It even seems like Jake was less scared of Jay as time goes by. It's true that at first Jay and Heeseung wanted to adopt a girl but he didn't regret changing his mind, Jake was truly a blessing for him.

-" Do you like the cake Jakey ? "

Sure he loved it, even if Jay was spoon feeding him he still have chocolate cake all over his face which was very cute but very silly at the same time.

Jake spend the afternoon by discovering all his new toys and the large backyard. He played football with Jay and Heeseung pushed him on the swings.

He was happy, he finally had the chance to have parents and he suddenly felt so loved.
