"50 bucks" this stupid man tried saying over the blaring music in our ears. "50 bucks! That's ridiculous! For two Beers?" I scoffed looking over my shoulder at the people dancing to the club music, the lights dancing on their faces.

I mean I know going out to a club for drinks and stuff is expensive but $50 for 2 shitty beers? That's just dumb.

I paid for my overpriced drinks and walked over to the booth where my friends and whatever people they had managed to pull in were sitting at. I placed my drinks down with a heavy sigh and an unpleasant look on my face.

"Maybe we should go to a bar or something. The drinks are way too expensive here."
"What!" My friends all seemed to say almost in sync. "I said maybe we should go to a bar, the drinks are really expensive!" I repeated a little louder this time. "What!" They said once more speaking over the music.
"I SAID MAYBE WE SHOULD GO TO A BAR THE DRINKS ARE EXPENISVE AND I'M BROKE!" I couldn't have yelled any louder. I'd hope that I wouldn't have to either.

"No wayy, you haven't even found someone to dance with" Kichi said almost Sarcastically. "Or to do something else with" my other friend, Gray, said with a mischievous grin appearing on his face. His dark blue eyes focused on mine. A small blush dashed across my face. It's not like I'm shy to the thought, just someone else talking about my sex life out of nowhere like he had just done, made me feel embarrassed. For obvious reasons of course. Wouldn't anyone?

I had thought about maybe finding someone to hook up with tonight. I looked over at the crowds of people pooling on the dance floor. Dancing with and on eachother. All the attractive people were already with someone. What was I to do.

The music seemed to get louder everytime I started listening to it. It drowned everything else around us out. Sometimes it made it difficult to focus on a conversation. The lights changed colours at a rapid pace, making everyones face change to hues of green, blue, red, and any other colours you could possibly think of.

"Although," Gray said standing from his spot on the booth. "I haven't really been having the best luck myself." I stared at him, wondering where he could possibly be going with this. "So why don't you and I go to a bar like you suggested. Try out our luck there." Gray almost sounded sincere. "What about everyone else?"
"They're all having fun. Let's leave them. They'll be fine. They're all grown up they can manage themselves like the big kids they are." He pouted at the last sentence he spoke. I giggled at his remark. Followed by a smile and a nod. "Alright then, if you say so."

We walked out the colourfully lit club, we walked to the bar that wasn't too far from where we had been. Moon Sip the sign above read. "Nice name for a bar." I mumbled under my breath. It was truly a nice name. But my comment sounded very sarcastic.

We walked into the dimly lit bar. The smell of alcohol and food crawled up my nose. It didn't smell the same as the club we had previously been in. It smelled more hearty. More fun. There were a group of men laughing at some poor dude that had spilled his drink on the pool table, knowing full well he was gonna get a death glare from the pretty waitress that walked around the bar. There were small groups of people scattered around the open room, sitting at booths and tables, standing and sitting at the counter, all seemingly having a good time.

"Let's go get something to drink." His words snapped me out of my observations. Making me realize I might just have been staring. "Y-yea, that's a good idea." I replied a little embarrassed and bitting my lip.

We walked over to the counter and sat down. The bartender was much quicker coming to tend to us than I had expected. I was taken a little off guard by it. "What do you want Gray." I said quickly before he could ask me the same question. I dislike it when people offer to buy stuff for me. I feel so guilty about it. Even if they insist, I feel like I'm robbing them.

"Oh no it's fine you do-"
"I want to." I cut him off leaving him with no choice but to comply. "I'll just have a Brandy."
"Alright sounds good" I smiled back at his content expression. "Excuse me, can I get a Brandy and a Cruiser." The bartender nodded and turned to grab whatever he went to get. "Thank you (Y/N)." Gray looked at me as if I had never offered to pay for his drink before. "You're welcome. But there's no need to thank me. You paid last time we went out together." A soft smile spread across my lips.

Although that wasn't the reason I had paid for his drink. Gray had been there for me for the longest time. We went to Highschool together. We met in our third year, so when we were like 17 maybe 18. How long ago was that? Like 3.. 2..? Ah it was 4 years ago. We're 22 now. Crazy how time flys like that, don't you think. But we've been through thick and thin. He helped me through a huge break up when we were 19, it was this real abusive dickwad of a guy. I can't beleive I even dated him thinking back on it. And ofcourse I've helped Gray through his fair share of breakups and other odd things.

My hand reached over and ruffled his dark dark blue hair. It almost looked black. "Ok just remember you have to pay next time alright." A small chuckle left my mouth following the words I had spoken. "Oh is that so huh?" He looked at me, one eyebrow raised. "Why yes it-" "Here are your drinks" I got cut off by our drinks making a tink sound as they hit the counter. "Oh thanks a bunch." Gray said before I had gotten the chance.

I paid for the drinks before setting my lips apon the rim of the bottle in my hand and taking a sip. I looked up and out the sunroof. I could see the moon. It was so bright and white. It stood there so full looking down on me. It made me feel so insignificant. It was almost calming. It made me forget about all the problems in the world. It was just so beautiful, so elegant. Surrounded by all those glittering, dancing stars and that pitch black background. I just don't think there were too many views more mesmorising than that.

I tipped my head back down, my eyes landed on a man sitting all lonesome like at a table. He had rugged black hair and stubble growing all over his chin and jawline. He had a scarf wrapped around his neck. He looked tired. Drained. Almost as if he needed something. A drink? Sleep? A distraction? Help?
