The last 4 pages were unable to be reached due to red stains and them being so torn they're impossible to read. The next one is the day of 'M' and their friend's sleepover.
"December 30th,
Today is the day! Did I mention that camcorder I got for Christmas? I've got it on the charger. I've decided that I and my friend are gonna use this to write about what we do! And if anything cool happens! They also happen to like all this paranormal stuff- I think- I'm not sure, but they usually are fine with it! Anyways, once I get the camcorder charged, I'll keep it with me, too. We're like the cool paranormal investigators on TV now! My friend (I'll call them 'L' in this, dear notebook) said they're gonna be here in a few!"
The next paragraph is scratched out, covered in black and red ink. The words "DON'T" are spelled out, as well. Something tells me this may not have gone as planned.
"We got prepared, and, after twelve-o-clock struck, we were ready! We painted the mask and the ground and got the video camera and shovel (L had insisted on bringing it for some reason) ready, and began to do the thing! It involved turning the lantern out, but now I know how to use a lighter without accidentally burning myself, someone else, or something in the room other than candles! Will update on the back of this page soon!

Oh, dear. Trying to contact the multiverse seemed like a bad idea, but doing things like this? Very, very bad. I don't think they knew what they were doing or what they were involving themselves with. I'm starting to think that the red stains aren't just ink anymore.
