I found this page right after the eighth, but in between the two was a ripped page with small symbols in the crevices of the tear that I am yet to decipher.
'January 10th,
This forest has gone on forever. We went in and a couple hours later, we came back out in fucking ALABAMA. That would NOT take that short of time. This forest is messed up. We went a little further to the right, and we came out in FLORIDA in 160 minutes. I'm extremely disoriented. These woods smell like blood, by the way. We're deciding to go up to see where it leads us, but I can't help but feel that wherever it'll lead is extremely foreboding. Oh yeah, that thing that was watching us in the woods not too long ago? Yeah, I don't know what it is, but it seems peaceful. It kinda follows us around and stares, but as we didn't interact with it other than acknowledging it a few times, it never really showed hostility towards us, so I'm led to believe it's a little more...merciful compared to everything else we've had to deal with. Maybe our ouck's beginning to turn and we'll find something that'll want to both help us and not kill us.
Update; we did not find that. I know from my extensive middle school obsessions that what we found is NOT what we want to be around. I know that damned image like it was burnt into my memory like a branding stick to the skull. Blue mask, black hoodie. Pointy ears and a tail similar to other species I've been around classified as 'Demonoids.' Tall with deformed legs and grey skin that was just barely visible from his fingerless gloves. Oh hell no, we're getting out of here ASAP. I don't like this forest anymore, especially now that we're most likely in danger, if that man notices us.

UPDATE 2; HE NOTICED US. WE ARE RUNNING. OH GOD. THE SHADOW JUST STARTED TRYING TO PROTECT US??? WHATEVER IT WORKS FOR IS OBVIOUSLY WANTING TO KEEP US ALIVE JUST FOR A LITTLE WHILE LONGER, IT SEEMS. WILL GET BACK TO YOU AS SOON AS WE ESCAPE.

Oh! That was...interesting. I'm both concerned and confused. Watchers don't typically do much more than stalk unless sent by a higher-up Demonoid for a specific task. They're only a base-level Demonoid, so that could've been anyone or anything. I'm going to go back out into the woods to try and find more missing pages soon, once this rain lets up.
