I had been in the design studio all day

I had been in the design studio all day. I loved days like this. I spent a large part of the day cleaning up the studio and organizing. I was able to finish it up with sketching.

On days like this the inspiration just flowed out of me. By the time I looked beyond the pad in front of me, I could see the sun was beginning to set.

I stretched my arms and legs and my back cracked. Damn I was becoming an old lady. I laughed. I suppose it's what I get for sitting hunched over for more than four hours.

Standing up. I pushed the chair in and gently placed my designs in my portfolio. As I packed up my bag, I realized I needed to go home and shower bad. All of the cleaning and concentration left me smelling a bit strong.

Sighing. I couldn't help but laugh. Talking to myself I giggled, "today was definitely a productive day."

I did one last walk through of the studio and turned out the remaining lights. Walking out and locking the door I caught my shadow and seen how crazy my outline I looked. Strands of hair hanging around my face and my bun hanging limply. This was not the aesthetic messy bun. I looked and smelt like rolled over shit.

Checking my Apple watch I turned in haste

Checking my Apple watch I turned in haste. If I hurried I could rush home, shower, get cute and wait for Da-won to come pick me up. Apparently we were going out for some special occasion.

I can't lie. I was bursting at the seams filled with curiosity for what special occasion we were celebrating.

Stepping away from the door, at the curb behind me was a sleek black Audi, door open and a man in a suit waiting there. Of course, I didn't know them so I started to head down the street.

"Ahem. Miss Zahra Taylor.  I am here to escort you. Would you please come with me?" He said in perfect English.

"I'm sorry, but who are you? Where are you escorting me? And why do you think I would go with you anywhere? I don't even know you."  I fired back at him quickly. Had he never heard of stranger danger before. What the hell.

He bowed gently. "Apologies Miss Taylor. I am here to take you to meet Madam Kwon Ja-Young, she is Lim Da-Won's mother. I have come to retrieve you at her request. Please come along."
