I woke up to sunlight peaking between blinds. That was the best nights sleep I'd had in a long time.
The smell of food had stirred me from my sleep. Whatever it was, it smelled delicious.
As I lifted myself up in bed my eyes began to focus.
Where the hell am I. Nothing in this room looked familiar.
What the fuck! Crisis mode kicked in as I took attendance of all of my body parts. I was in one piece. But the clothes weren't mine. I was in a big T-shirt and a pair of boxer briefs.
Oh my god! Who did I go home with!
I sat silently listening for signs of who's home I might be in. Just then a soft knock sounded from the door. "Zahra, if you're awake, breakfast is ready."
My ears perked up. Omg. I just spent the night at Min-Gyu's place. "Coming!" I yelled to the other side of the door.
I looked around for a mirror. I definitely didn't want him to see me looking crazy. I wandered into the bathroom and seen myself in the mirror. Fuck! I look like crap. The feeling of a slight hang over was settling in. I needed to shower and clean up. I went back out to the bed room and searched thru my purse. Thank goodness I had a toothbrush and toothpaste in my bag. I never thought I'd be using it in this moment but it was it was clutch. Most Koreans kept a toothbrush and toothpaste with them to brush their teeth throughout the day.
I brushed my teeth quickly and then looked around the sink area. Min-Guy was very organized and clean. He also took great care of his skin. As I looked at the products on the sink I found his cleanser. Hopefully he wouldn't mind me using them.
There was a small linen closet area fully stocked with towels and washcloths. I took one of each and headed over to his shower.
This bathroom was glorious and I planned to take full advantage of it. It may have been rude to just use his stuff without asking but there was no way I was stepping out the room looking like this.
I stepped into the shower letting the steam clear my nose and relieving the slight headache I felt creeping up. The water pressure was perfect. Washing my hair and body helped some of the hangover lessen.
Min-Gyu had good taste. His hygiene and skincare products were all top of the line. It smelled good too.
As I let the hot water release the tension in my muscles I recalled last night. Everything from dinner and running into Dawon's family, the incident at the nightclub, to the hang out session we had after the club. Last night was definitely a good time.
Min-Gyu was a gentleman. We didn't sleep together, just spent most of the night talking and drinking wine. At some point I passed out.
I stepped out the shower and changed into the fresh set of clothing that seemed to be lain out by the clean linens. It was the exact same thing I wore to bed.
