The morning sun came upon Rona's windows, hitting her white, milky skin. It soon wakes the lady up, getting herself ready for the day.
She reviews her schedule on her phone that her manager has lined up for her. All of it was scheduled for the wedding that she has been arranged. She sighed, looking once again in the mirror.
Her puffy eyes, bloodshot eyes that suffered from a night's worth of crying was the result of it. Knocks came onto her door, which she opened and she sees Yoonhee leaning onto the wall next to her door.
"You ready for the day, uri ttal? " Yoonhee asks, softly that it soothes Rona's mind a little. Rona nodded slowly, looking down. "Hey, heads up my big girl. I know things will go great, don't worry about anything okay?"
Rona smiled a little and then walked herself to the dining room. She was greeted by Yoonchul and Eunbyeol who were enjoying their breakfast as well.
"Let me get you a plate." Eunbyeol offered when she saw there were no plates for Rona to use. She then walks away from the table and left Rona and her parents together.
The atmosphere was stuffed with awkwardness, Yoonchul asked her oldest daughter to break the silence. "Your manager gave you your schedule already?" Rona nodded.
There were also other following questions but Rona either nodded or shook her head to answer. Yoonchul and Yoonhee sighed looking at their daughter, pitiful enough to be able to tell that she was quite unhappy with her condition.
Never in her life, had she would think that she will be arranged into a wedding that she didn't have a say in it. Eunbyeol returned with the plates and the family had a quiet breakfast together.
After breakfast, Yoondo's secretary came to the house and proposed that Yoondo will be together with Rona for the fitting. She nodded as she didn't want to let Yoondo burst out of anger, she gets her bag from Eunbyeol and goes out to the front door.
"Be careful there, honey. We are sorry that both I and your dad can't make it to the fitting." Yoonhee said to her child, caressing Rona's silky hair. "I will be back soon, don't worry about me. Make sure to get that shareholder, it's essential for John Bio." Rona smiled then rode onto the car that Yoondo's secretary drove.
The car slowly drove away from the yard and drove onto the pavement. "Nothing is going to happen to Rona, right?" Eunbyeol asked, uneasily. " Let's just hope that your sister will come back safely, Eunbyeol-ah. I am worried too."
They drove to Hongdae and arrived at a famous bridal boutique. A lot of fancy cars were parked around it, it seems like Yoondo oppa has been waiting for me, Rona thought. She gets off of the car, the secretary escorting her, and went into the store.
She then meets Yoondo, who was drinking tea with a lady. "Ah, jagiya. You're here." He said. Rona icks at the word jagiya but she knew that she shouldn't be fussy about it. She knows that Yoondo can harm her at any time so she should behave herself in order to not get herself hurt.
"Oppa." Rona greets. Yoondo stands then took her waist in his arms. "Meet Juyoung, she's the owner of this boutique. She makes exquisite gowns and I know you'll look fabulous in her gowns." The lady named Juyoung then extends her hands to Rona, meeting the lady's eyes.
Rona returned the favor and smiled back. "I am Kim Juyoung. I have heard about you a lot, Rona-ssi. I hope to go along well with you." Juyoung smiled. "I am Bae Rona, thank you for taking the favor of completing my wedding dress, Juyoung-ssi."
"So now that you have arrived, shall we take a look at the dresses that we have here in the boutique?" Juyoung offered, her eyes looking over to Yoondo. "We shall! Let's go, Rona-ah." Yoondo hugs the lady and started walking, not giving Rona time to collect herself after being engulfed in his hug.
On the other hand, a man was seen to be stalking through the boutique far away from the streets. He was indeed trying his best to not be seen by the guards' patrol of Yoondo's. He sees Rona shaking hands with a female employee, smiling.
Hell, he sees Rona smiling in front of Yoondo that it makes him so angry that the jerk could afford to see that smile. It has been days that he hasn't seen that beautiful smile of the lady that he thinks that he is so down lately.
"That smile suits you so much, Rona-ah. Too much crying can always hurt you so much that I can't afford to fix it. Keep on smiling, my butterfly. Stay happy just like that forever, even when I am not the one who made you smile just like that." He said.
He stood, hiding behind a pole looking at the lady inside the shop as long as he could before she moves away, her body hugged away, unwillingly. A call came in for him, just in time. "Have you already seen Rona? I am still here at the cafe if you're done." The other man said on the line.
"She had just gone out of sight. Stay there, I'll be right over." "Aigoo uri Joo Seokhoon. What kind of ghost possessed you until things like this have to happen?" Seokhoon scoffed.
"Ya Lee Minhyuk, if you're thinking of badmouthing Yeojoo too, better stop because I am not going easy on you this time." The man on the line laughed, surrendering.
"Better hurry, Jenny called me earlier asking me to bring you back. Your family's worried." "Alright, I'm coming," Seokhoon said then ends the call. He took a glimpse of the boutique behind him once again and left.
I love you, Bae Rona... always and forever. I will try to protect you from that jerk, even if it has to sacrifice myself for you. I hope you will always smile just like that for the rest of your life.
