As soon as the car stopped, guards captured Rona and dragged her into the house. "LET ME GO!" Rona pleaded desperately.

The guards put Rona in her bedroom and Yoondo instructed all of his men that guarded outside Rona's bedroom to get off work.

Yoondo then shut and locked the door. He straightaway cornered Rona and forcefully grabbed Rona's jaw.

"Where on Earth did you go for 30 minutes during the party, Bae Rona-ssi? Answer me!" Yoondo yelled.

Rona kept her silence as she didn't want to let Yoondo get his way as well she couldn't spill about her meeting with Seokhoon a while ago.

"Now you're not telling me, aren't you?" Yoondo forced Rona to get down on all fours while one of his hands quickly opened his belt.

"This is what lying and disobedient brats get for disobeying me!" Yoondo whipped his belt onto Rona's skin.

Yelps of pain were heard from Rona but it didn't stop Yoondo this time as well.

He stopped after 12 whips and waited for Rona to answer. But of course, Rona wouldn't spill. Yoondo got even frustrated.

He grabbed a handful of Rona's silky hair and pulled it across the bedroom. "IT HURTS!" Rona shouted in pain.

"You're quite brave for a lady who got sold away by her own parents," Yoondo told Rona right into her face.

"They didn't sell me, for your information. I was the one who chose this stupid marriage and I knew who you were even before we got married, you offender."

Rona's selection of words rightfully clicked and offended the man. "What did you just say, you wh*re?"

"You're quite a criminal, aren't you? You kill people without proper reasons, you assault people whenever and however you like, and you contribute to drug import and get profit from it. What a life you're living, Jung Yoondo-ssi."

Rona grinned, provoking the man. "You little sh*t..." SLAP. Yoondo slapped Rona across the face. Yoondo forcefully grabbed Rona's face, anger evident on his face.

"I kill people if they don't like being under me. I rule everything in this world and those chosen have to follow me, killing is their fate if they don't abide."

Yoondo laughed hysterically. "They were exactly like you, Rona-ah. They begged for me to spare themselves once I bring a gun to their head."

Yoondo brought out his gun from his suit pocket and aimed at Rona's forehead. "You look so pretty like this, wife. Just like this."

He stroked Rona's skin slowly, his eyes glued to where his hands were.

"You will die by my hands, Bae Rona, but just not today. It's only right to kill you after I use you a few more times to take Shimwoon away from Joo Seokhoon."

Yoondo let go of Rona's face harshly and left the room. Tears glide onto Rona's red cheeks as she collects herself.

You can't break down here, Rona-ah. You can do this, you can.

It has been officially two months since Seokhoon's party and Rona was nowhere to be seen since.

The clueless Seokhoon who had been sinking himself with work since day one had been sitting in his office for 3 days straight without breaks.

"Daepyo-nim. I think it's right-" "This document is very important, I need to go through it now. Make yourself out if you don't have anything to tell me."

Seokhoon shoo-ed Secretary Choi, his eyes focusing on the papers in his hands. "The thing is..." Secretary Choi hesitated, grabbing Seokhoon's attention.

"You barely stutter, Secretary Choi. What's the matter?" Seokhoon finally settled down on his papers and looked properly at the secretary.

"Actually sir, Mrs. Bae Rona has been reported to not be seen since your party. There is some speculation that you might have been the one who captured her away." Seokhoon's eyes widen in shock.

"Rona's missing?" Possibilities circled Seokhoon's mind after that shocking news.

"Unfortunately, that has been the case. Your family has been in contact with Chairman Ha about her whereabouts since last week."

Seokhoon sighed, hands on his temples. "Why didn't you inform me earlier, Secretary Choi? You know this is urgent!" Seokhoon sternly spoke.

"Mrs. Suryeon didn't want to interrupt you as you were swamped by work these couple of days." "You should have just told me earlier! Why..."

Seokhoon massages his temples once again, his head about to explode with a lot of thoughts. Then it clicked.

"Secretary Choi, has Chairman Jung Yoondo been overseas recently?"

"I think he has, I believe. But there's no news report on Mrs. Rona's appearance. I don't think she went with Chairman Jung for those business trips."

Things got clearer after one statement and another. "I think she got grounded. Yoondo must have not let her out for the house."

Seokhoon panicked at the thought of Rona having to bare all her stress alone. He sprung up from his seat, his mind only focusing on Rona.

"You shouldn't do rash decisions, President Joo. Mrs. Rona can get hurt because of your decisions as well." Secretary Choi stopped him.

Seokhoon sighed loudly, his worries not fading away. "Rona's being treated like sh*t and you guys expect me to sit tight and watch the show? The hell..." He cursed under his breath.

"I know you are very angry right now, sir. Chairman Lee and Madame Shim are asking for you back home, I think it would be best if you discuss further action with family."

"I shall go home and discuss. Please cancel all afternoon and evening meetings and events that I have scheduled for today." Seokhoon picked up his jacket and walked out of his office.

He raced out to the basement where he parked his black sedan. He quickly got into it and drove away, his mind all hoping, I hope you are fine, Rona-ah.

"Eomma... Appa..." Seokhoon uttered, alerting Suryeon and Logan who were waiting. "Son! You're home!"

Suryeon hugged her only son, relieved that he came back home after so many nights. The girls who were in their respective rooms raced downstairs after hearing Suryeon.

"Eomma, I think I know where Rona is.
