Weeks passed by and Rona was 'ready' to be wed. Time passed so fast that it was already the day of the wedding.

Rona wakes up, hearing noises outside of her room. Curiosity peaks the cat, Rona took a peek by opening her door a little bit to see the situation.

Unfamiliar people were walking around the house, bringing her things outside, transporting them to her car.

Eunbyeol, who was talking to the wedding planner saw her sister peeking like a cat dismissed the lady, and walked over to her sister.

"You don't have to peek around for your own wedding, Rona-ah." Eunbyeol approached. Rona got startled by the sudden ambush, she put her hand over her chest to calm down.

"You didn't have to surprise me like that, sis. Anyway, what's going on? Why are you dressed?" Rona asked. Eunbyeol frowned, a bunch of questions running in her mind.

"Did you really forget or you're just trying to avoid things? We're going to the hotel for your preparation." Oh right, the hotel, Rona thought.

"And you, the bride is late for her own day. Go and take a shower, you skunk! Hurry up!" Eunbyeol pushed her sister into the room again and sent her to the bathroom.

Despite her denial that she's getting married to a dangerous man running in her mind, Rona's body moves around and picked up the outfit she would be wearing to the hotel in her closet and went into her bathroom bringing in her necessities.

Things got busier after they reached the hotel. Rona was dragged to the hotel suite and was immediately prepped. The makeup artist instantly started touching up Rona, leaving Rona clueless.

Eunbyeol was busy checking out the hall, Yoonhee and Yoonchul were left to the entrance to check out the guest list one last time.

On the other hand, Yoonchul's head was full of concern and thoughts kept storming in. He had to tell Yoonhee about Yoondo but he couldn't bring himself.

"I can see that you are so occupied, darling. Mind sharing what's in that mind of yours?" Yoonhee asked, her hands busy going over the list.

Yoonchul drags Yoonhee to the side, his eyes looking over to make sure there wasn't anyone nearby.

"I have something to tell you. I am so sorry that I couldn't tell you this earlier but I promise I wasn't trying to keep it away from you." Yoonchul gulped as he scans over Yoonhee's reaction.
"If it's not anything important, I'm going to kick your shin, Ha Yoonchul. It better be serious." Yoonhee focused on her husband, putting the list away for a while.

"Yoondo... Chairman Jung. He is not someone that we can fool with. He hurts people, he kills people. He is a criminal." Yoonchul told his wife.

"Yoonchul-ah, I know you're not fully accepting this wedding but we have no choice. Our daughter has accepted her fate anyway so this joke is not funny."

"Why do you think this is a joke? Joo Seokhoon... that boy witnessed everything Jung Yoondo did. Seokhoon knows everything about Yoondo's crime. He did that announcement to protect Rona." Yoonchul cried.

"W-what are you talking about right now? This is not funny, Ha Yoonchul!" Yoonhee grabbed the man's collar.

"I am not joking and right now, Rona didn't just accept the fact that she has to live with a criminal but she has also accepted the fact that she might get hurt." Yoonchul confronted.

"Oh my god..." Yoonhee broke down. "No, my Rona... oh my god no." She cried out even more. "Try calming down, honey. I know..." Yoonchul tried calming her down.

"I'm sorry, Rona-ah. It's my fault that you're in this situation."

A sedan drove through the parking lot, parking perfectly in the square provided. The man that drove, came out from the car and checked his reflection on the windows.

He locks the car, his heart was heavy and disappointed. "Joo Seokhoon," Somebody called the man out. "Joo Seolah, why are you here?" Seokhoon asked the lady approaching him.

"I wanted to see Rona with you. Eomma, Appa, and the others already went inside first." Seolah told her brother.

"Let's go, we can't make the elders wait." Seokhoon grabs his little sister's hand and walked together to the place that he dreaded visiting.

The bride's waiting room.

They reached the room after 5 minutes of walking, Seokhoon's heart couldn't stop pumping hard.

Never in his thoughts, he would see his love getting married to someone else, his heart still breaks even after months of accepting the truth.

"Can I knock in it, Oppa? " Seolah asked the gentleman. He nods even though his heart still yearns for the woman inside the room.

Seolah knocks on the door, receiving a 'come in' from the lady inside. She steals a look at her brother, who looked very troubled, and grabs his hand, assuring him.

"Let's just say hi and go to the hall, okay?" Seolah persuaded. He nods and they together go inside. The both of them were stunned when they saw Rona.

A white ballgown dress, beads sewn on the dress, and a lengthy veil, making every side of Rona look perfect.

"Seolah-ah, Seokhoon-ah..." Rona lost her words. Tears taking over Seolah, she races over and hugged the figure. "Rona-ah..." She cried.

Rona cried as well when she heard her best friend sob over her shoulder. "Why are you crying? Don't..." Rona said, patting her friend's back.

"I am so sorry that you must go through this. We failed to protect you." Seolah told her over the sobs.

"It's okay, I have accepted it anyway. Now, please don't cry, I'm going to ruin my makeup if you keep crying." Seolah releases the hug and took a last look at Rona, her eyes still shining with tears.

"I think you and Oppa need to talk, so I'll wait outside." Seolah then walked out of the room, leaving space for the former couple to converse.

Awkwardness filled the room, suffocating the both of them. "You look beautiful, Rona-ah." Seokhoon started. Rona smiled, thanking the man after.

Seokhoon let out a big sigh, he knows that he lost Rona ever since the wedding got fast-forwarded. "I am sorry that I failed to protect you from him. I know that you will get hurt by him sometime soon." Seokhoon continued.

"Seokhoon-ah." Rona cut him off. "Can you promise me something?" Seokhoon's eyes lit up at the question. He nodded, signaling Rona to continue.

"Promise me to get me out from this marriage? "
