CHAPTER19 "The Lie"

It was the next day and I woke up with sun shining across my room while I was getting up I had a call from the other 4 so I picked up, "Hey wanna hang out at the park later at 1 pm" said Liam and the other 4 including me agreed then the call ended.

I went downstairs and toasted some bread and added avocado spread and ate at least 2 of it then afterwards I took a shower and went to the mall to buy some groceries and some more stuff for the pantry.

As I was trying to find dairy in the grocery I saw someone familiar with a group of friends but it just won't come out of my mind on who it is until a few seconds later it came out of my head......Lila.

She went near me I got scared but I remembered I don't look a single like Maya anymore so it made me less scared but there is still a chance she will know who I am, after 2 minutes she left and I tried getting all the dairy I needed and went to the register and checked out all my items and left the grocery.

While I was driving back home I was thinking "It looked like she was the same as ever....I actually thought that she left New York" all I thought about was her the whole ride but I shrugged it off and tried forgetting about her once again.

It was 12:55 pm and I walked to the park and already saw everyone at the park sitting on the bench and I walked up to them and said "I'm sorry if I made you guys wait" "Its fine it's only 12:57 anyways it hasn't even been 1 pm like we planned" Zayden said as he tried to comfort me a few seconds of silence until I asked them "Why did you guys wanna hang out?" "Well we know that you got fired yesterday so we planned on hanging out so we can cheer you up" said James while looking up at me then William stood up and said "Come on quit chit chatting and let's get ice cream" so we followed him to the ice cream shop and bought ice cream.

While eating our ice cream Zayden said that he will buy water and as he bought water William rested his hand on my shoulder "Look Giselle I'm sorry to make ruin this mood but I can't hold it in anymore but it's fine if you won't believe me but....Zayden told us this like a week ago and he said that he doesn't like being friends with you and that you're annoying he'd be planning on stop being friends with you but not today since he knows you just lost your job" he said as I almost dropped my ice cream, I don't know if I should believe him but I did realize when we hung out all 5 of us he looked bothered and it looked like he wasn't enjoying..... "I think it's better for us not to be friends....Destiny has nothing for us" I said with a sad tone and after a minute he went back and after I drank water I asked Zayden to follow me that I wanna talk to him alone.....so he followed me at the streets near us "Look Zayden I don't think we should be friends anymore I feel like we aren't meant to be or something, I'm sorry but I think that's what you want too" then I left and went back to the others and we continued to hang out but it wasn't as fun as it was supposed to be.

It was only 3:30 pm but I didn't feel like continuing hanging out with them so I told them that I will be leaving already so I left them behind and still couldn't believe on what happened today.

When I reached my house I immediately went to my room and gave out a big sigh and looked at my phone and saw Zoe chatting me.
