CHAPTER 2: deep care

percent day age 18 (both of them)

Amelia P.O.V

I was sat on my desk in mine and jinx room drawing in my book whilst jinx was working on a new gadget at her own desk. I could see she was starting to get a bit frustrated, and then she was shouting at the empty space between us. I know about her seeing her dead friends and how it can frustrate her sometimes, but I have been around it long enough to know how to help her, I put my book down and walked over to her, I wrapped myself around her putting her arms to the side make sure she didn't start punching and throwing stuff. She was hyperventilating, so I was trying to help her calm down by getting her to breath with me. After 10 minutes she had calmed down and turned around, She was now facing me, and started to hug me. She looked me in the eyes with slight tear marks on her face,

"can you sing to me please sugar"

I nodded to her and sat on my chair and she sat on the floor between my legs, I started singing my mums song and bruising her hair and she eventually fell asleep. I helped her to bed and decided to leave her be and go and see my dad to see what he's doing. I gave jinx a kiss on the forehead and walked out the room.

Jinx P.O.V before break down

I was sat on my desk working on something I have never tried before and it's really starting to piss me off that it's not working and the voices aren't helping.

'it's not working because you are a jinx and you mess things up'

I heard Milo say next to me and it's not helping I could feel myself starting to get angry when suddenly felt arms around me, I know its Amelia she always helps me when I fell like this and I'm so lucky to have her in my life I would be lost without her. She was keeping my arms to my side and helping me breath and after a while I turned to her and hugged her, I asked her if she could sing to me because that always makes me feel so much better, She took me to her desk and she started bruising my hair and singing her mum's song, She told me that her mum use to do this and that silco also brushes her hair wiliest she sings her mums song and now she does it for me and it truly makes me feel loved. I could feel myself starting to fall asleep, and it was blissful.

Amelia P.O.V

I just walked into my dads office and he was sat working I walked over to him and sat on the arm of his chair he was still writing but he put his arm around me and i put my head on his shoulder till he finished.

"You okay river, you look tired"

he said when he had finished.

"Yeah I'm fine dad just tired. jinx had a bit of an episode i helped her obviously but sometimes i really hate seeing her that was dad but i don't know how else to help"

He looked at me and gave me that little smile he only gives me and jinx.

"Listen to me river you are helping her just by being there when she needs you the most and I'm so very proud of you of the both of you"

I gave my dad a hug when Sevika walked in,

"Boss there is a problem what do you want us to do"

she said to him with like no emotions on her face but what's new.

"what's the issue"

"some people in the lower part of the lanes have been attacking each other and its getting out of hand, I have heard talk about if it doesn't improve enforcers are going to get involved."

I looked between my dad and Sevika till my dad answered

"well we can't have that happen now can we"

he turns to me

"can you sort this for me river"

I gave him a nod a quick hug and made my way to the door, as I was passing Sevika she gave my hair a quick rub and I walked out.

"stay safe river"

my dad shouted as I was making my way to do my job

"always am dad"

I said before I walked out and the door closed behind me.

Silco P.O.V

I was busy working in my office when I heard my door open I was about to should about being interrupted but then I saw it was my daughter and decided to just ignore it, She walked over to my chair and sat on the arm I wrapped my arm around her and she cuddled into me no matter how old she gets I always appreciate that she still comes to see me and she still likes to give her old man hugs, when I finished we are talking about jinx and how she could help her more. I have never been so proud of my daughter, I love both of them and I'm so proud of both of them but my daughter has come so fair since I found her that scared little 5-year-old girl hidden in her wardrobe. Savika walked in talking about a problem interrupting are father daughter time. It didn't seam like something I need to worry about so I turned to river and asked if she could take care of it, to be honest I didn't need to ask because I know she can. When she walked out I got back to work before I told her to be safe, when she shouted back she always is made me smile.

Jinx P.O.V

I woke up in bed, which made me smile thinking that my sugar pie put me in bed when I fell asleep. When i couldn't see her in are room drawing I was a bit confused I got up and made my way to silco to see if he has seen her. When I made it there I barged in who cares about knocking, I skipped over to his desk and sat right on it so he can pay attention to me.

" Yes jinx what's the matter"

he asked me lying back in his chair and looking me dead in the face. I picked up his pen and started messing with it along with his work his work and asked him where Amelia because she wasn't in are room when I woke up

"oh she has gone to deal with a problem for me".

I froze and put both my feet on each of the arms of his chair and pulled him forward.

"Are you telling me you sent her on a mission without me."

He nodded his head and I used me feet and pushed him away and ran out of the room. Just as the door closed i realised i didn't know where she is so I ran back in and over to his desk, I didn't even need to ask he told me where she is without looking up form his work. I pulled out my gun and ran to help my sugar pie, She is not having all the fun.

silco P.O.V (only short)

When jinx ran out of the room I looked at the door and then my work she has pushed everywhere, I just shook my head but smirked, both of my girls are very interest and I'm happy they have each other.
