CHAPTER 9: Amelia and Silco flashback

Amelia and silco flashbacks

Amelia age 5 after silco finds her

Amelia P.O.V

I was walking around my new house and I think I got lost, I looked around yep I definitely was lost. I kept walking till I ran into someone's legs I looked up to see silco, I was still getting use to being around him and I was still a bit shy.

"are you okay little one"

I looked up to him and made eye contact.

"I got lost mister I'm sorry"

He knelt down so he was nearly at eye level with me.

"you don't need to be sorry its okay to be exploring you're new home and you don't have to call me mister"

he said to me with a smile I gave him a little smile back and built up the courage to ask

"can you show me around"

he gave me a little nod back he took my hand and started showing me around. I was so exited to be living here now, We where close to silcos office when i saw something cool out the window it was a really pretty rainbow in all my life I have never seen a rainbow its so pretty.

"daddy look at this"

I said running to the window to take a better look. I froze when I realised what I said

"I'm sorry"

He walked up to me and rubbed my head

"its okay Amelia if you want to call me that then you can I would be very proud to be your dad"

I hugged his leg and then I took his hand and continued walking.

Silco P.O.V

she is going to be special little girl I can just see it, I will train her to be the best of the best, she is going to be perfect and I will be there to help her along the way, It also felt nice she things of me as her dad and I will treasure that her whole life.

Amelia P.O.V age 6

I have been living with my dad for a year now, I have been calling him dad since that day he took me exploring and it feels good to have a farther figure in my life.

I was sat in my dads office with some pens and paper whilst my dad was having a meeting I was sat at the little desk he had put by his desk for me. He was having a meeting with sevika I think her name is but she is nice to me so I'm nice back.

I was done with my drawing it was a picture of me and my daddy and I was so proud of it that I had to show him, I cant wait to see what he thinks of it.

"Daddy look I have made you a picture"

"OH wow Amelia this is amazing you are a very talented little girl"

I was beaming with pride i was so happy he liked it.

"I'm going to find a photo frame so it can go on my desk"

to this day that picture is still on his desk along with all my other ones.

couple days later

"Amelia can you come here"

I ran over to my dad and sat on his lap.

"I got you something"

He handed me a new sketch book and pens.

"I want you to keep drawing for me"

I gave him a big hug I was so happy this is my first ever sketch book. He moved us closer to his desk so I could start drawing, as I was drawing my dad pulled out a hair brush and he started to brush my hair and he was doing this I remembered my mum so I started to sing her song. I was so happy and I never stopped drawing, and to this day my first ever sketch book is in my dads room in his bed side table along with a few others.

Amelia age 9

I was training with sevika in hand to hand combat today. I have been training with her for a while and I'm getting better which I'm happy about. hand to hand combat is a good area for me and I was doing well to the point I actually took sevika down to the matt. I looked up when i heard clapping.

"very good Amelia you are getting better, Like a river so graceful and majestic keep it up."

I was so proud with myself and I'm proud with what my doing for my dad and that day is how I got my nickname.

Amelia age 10 (just before they meet jinx)

I walked into my dads office I was really upset not not upset I was mad. I over heard some of my dads men talking, Saying I'm a weak privileged little daddy's girl, that I'm a brat who just had something handed to her and didn't work for it.

"what's the matter river" (he has been calling me river since that day she watched me train with sevika and I like my new nickname i have never had one before)

my dad asked as i crawled into his lap and told him what happened.

"Now listen to me river you are far from weak and a brat you have worked hard at everything you do and I couldn't be more proud, they are just jealous that a 10 year old is better then them."

I gave him a smile I was so lucky to have him as my dad he was the best.

"I got something for you by the way"

he opened his draw and pulled out 2 really pretty daggers, after a quick hug I got off his lap to practice with them. I moved smooth and elegantly with them to get use them them, and I loved them like a lot they where perfect for me.

"do you see what I mean river you are not weak or a brat you are my strong and calm, graceful and peaceful little river."

I gave him one last smile before i continued to practice whilst my dad watched.

Amelia age 14

(Amelia has been spending a lot of time with jinx and is feeling a bit guilty.)

I was heading to my dads office to see him, I have been spending a lot of time with Jinx and I haven't been spending as much time with him. I love my dad and I feel guilty that I'm not spending time with him like I use to.

I walked into his office to see him looking down at his work, He looked stressed so I headed over to him.

"hi dad I wanted to come and see you"

he turned around in his chair he looked really tired and it worry's me when he over works himself.

"hello river you hanging out with jinx today".

I felt really guilty so I sat in his lap and cuddled my head into his neck.

"no dad not today I want to spent time with you"

he gave me a little smile and chuckle before patting my head.

"I would love that river but I have a lot of work to do and its stressing me out a bit"

I huffed at this and took my dads hand and started to pull him out of his office he needed to have a break and I wanted to spend time with my dad its a win win.

one hour later

me and my dad went for a walk and I showed him all the places I like to go, this was the perfect time to show him what i have been working on.

" I have something to show you dad I have been working on this for a long time"

I turned him around to show him the painting on the wall i have been working on. it was a picture of me and dad and jinx and sevika everyone in are little family.

"its beautiful river I'm very proud of you and the girl you have become"

he pulled me into a hug as we looked at the picture and the city we both love, We continued on are walk getting food along the way, When it came to the more dangerous parts of the town he made sure to keep me close and safe but he also knows I can defend myself if I need to, This was the best day ever.

I do miss my mum and dad but I love the life I have now and I couldn't have asked for anyone better to be my dad. I was one lucky girl to have the best family in the world.
