CHAPTER 4: sick days

chapter 4

Amelia P.O.V

I woke up feeling like shit, I looked up to see Jinx fast asleep and I was cuddles into her side on her chest, to tell you the truth I could stay like this forever. This was so peaceful till I had this sudden urge to vomit, I ran to mine and Jinx shared bathroom and I was sick. I heard jinx walk in but I needed to stay where I was my head was spinning and I couldn't see anything in front of me.

"you okay sugar pie"

Jinx asked me but but I couldn't answer I couldn't get out a single word I just had about enough strength to shake my head no.

"don't worry sugar pie I will stay with you"

after a while of me being sick and her rubbing my back I was able to get back into bed, I was so cold and the world was spinning I really hate when I'm poorly it made me weak and I hate being weak.

Jinx sat with me for a bit to make sure I was okay, I fell like my through was on fire so I asked her if she could get me a glass of water. She have me a kiss on the forehead and she headed out leaving me alone in my though, it has been a long time since I was sick I don't like when people have to look after me I like to be independent. I could feel myself falling asleep which was a great relief because I was so tired. Something cold was suddenly on my head I opened my eyes to see my Dad had his hand on my head checking my temperature.

"Jinx said you are poorly how are you now river"

I sat myself up slightly and moved myself into my dads arms, I was burning up and my dad left cold it was nice and soothing. he looked down at me with a concerned face he started stroking my hair and humming my mums song, I looked over to see Jinx next to the bed with a concerned look on her face and holding a glass of water for me, I took the water and drank it after giving her a little smile. I was slowly started to fall asleep with my dad stroking my hair and humming to me.

Jinx P.O.V

I woke up when Amelia suddenly shot out of bed, I heard her go to are bathroom so I was going to leave her be that was until I heard her being sick which made me shoot out of bed to check on her. I Asked her if she was okay but she could barley Shake her head no. After a while of of me comforting her I was able to get her back into bed. I continued to comfort her to just be with her if she needs anything. We sat in silence and I though she might have fell asleep till she asked me if I could go get her some water she felt like her through was on fire. I will literally do anything for this girls so I gave her a kiss on the head and headed to the kitchen to get it for her and whilst I was there I will pick her up some medicine from the med room.

As I was coming back I though it would be a good idea if I told Silco about Amelia being sick. I walked into his office to see him having a meeting with sevika,

"oi cant you see we are having a meting crazy pants"

I rolled my eyes at her this bitch really fucking pushes my buttons but my main focus was on Amelia. I ignored her and walked over to Silco pulling him up out of his chair and taking him with me to Amelia.

" what is the meaning of this Jinx"

I turned my head slightly at him and answered

"Amelia is sick I need you to come check on her"

I could see the look of concern and his face and we both sped up are pace to go and check on her. We walked in to see her nearly asleep. Silco walked over to her and check on her whilst I sat down by the side of the bed. What shocked me the most was silco started bruising her hair and humming her moms song, Now the brushing her hair was normal but I have never seen seen him humming to her it was new for me to see. When we knew she was asleep we left her alone and went back to silcos office.

Silco P.O.V

after me and jinx left Amelia to sleep we went back to my office because there was actually something I needed the girls to do but Jinx is more then capable of doing it on her own I have the up most faith in her.

"jinx I have a mission for you"

I told her as I sat back down at my desk, I could see the look on her face that she was about to protest about this but I need it to get done

"don't worry it wont take long and I will look after Amelia till you get back"

She gave me this look that said if anything happens to her I will raise hell I rolled my eyes at this look I mean its not like I haven't raised her the past 13 years but what ever. I told her about the mission and she gave me one last look before walking out of the office. I went back to my paper work when she left.

1 hour later

I just finished something or other (paper work is meaningless sometimes) when my office door opens my daughter walked in with her blanket over her head the only part of her visible was her face that was extremely pale

"river what are you doing out of bed you should be sleeping".

My daughter may be one of the strongest people I know but when she is poorly she can be a bit needy.

"daddy I don't feel good I hurt"

She said coming over to me, She sat on the side of my chair.

"I know you don't river"

I could tell she wasn't going to go back to bed because I know she doesn't like to be alone when poorly so I let her sit on my chair with me, She cuddled her head into my neck as I was working.

"where is birdy"

She asked me in her sleepy voice. I didn't want to tell her the truth with the risk of her getting worried and that will stress her out making her more poorly so I just told her she is doing a little job for me. I started rubbing her head and she once again fell asleep and she didn't once move till Jinx got back from her mission.

Jinx P.O.V

I just got back from yet another mission with sevika and I was fucking tired and it was taking all my strength not to rip her stupid head off. We both made it to silcos office to let him know about the job. Savika walked in first and then me not really paying attention I just want to get this over with so I can go and check on Amelia my little sugar pie, And then I want to sleep.

"why is strawberry shortcake sleeping in here"

I heard sevika ask. I lifted my head and saw Amelia curled in a little ball on silcos lap sleeping peacefully.

"she not well and came down here so she wasn't alone, Jinx can you take her back up to bed and sevika can tell me about the mission."

I gave me a quick nod and took her in my arms and out of the room. when we got back to are room I put her back into bed and made sure she was nice and warm. I then went to get dressed myself I didn't realise I have blood on my clothes till I got in the shower once i was done in thee shower i got ready for bed. I went back to my room to see Amelia sounds asleep it was so cute I crawled into bed and drifted off to sleep with my sugar pie she once again crawled into my arms and settled where she belongs.
