The second day had arrived. Kyu had slept a little longer this time, so he didn't show up before four in the morning again.
It was just after eight in the morning when Kyu had arrived at school. This time he had a full view of the crowd filing into school grounds due to him being part of the same crowd. He stretched his arms outward, releasing a few pops from his joints. The black ribbon that he had forgotten to wear yesterday had been tied around his left wrist. He had tied it in a basic knot, but it was secured to his wrist. It was a touch too tight, but it didn't bother him.

The boy had soon reached the entrance of the schoolhouse. The magnitude of the building had not yet ceased to impress the boy. It was extravagant... and unnecessary.
After contemplating the hubris of whomever designed the over-the-top building, Kyu made his way into the building.

Something that the boy had noticed, while he was looking throughout the school, was that this school was not like the other schools in Japan that he had seen. This specific one was... European, and very much so. The dress-code was strict, but not so much that there weren't minor exceptions. Kyu saw a few people who wore casual clothes underneath their blazers, sneakers instead of the formal loafers that are supplied with the uniform. Kyu had also noticed that the girls seemed to favor the complete uniform. Perhaps this was due to the fact that the school was previously females-only. Oh well, the boy thought. There was no need to think of the differences about the students. It really wasn't his place.

And with his mind freshly cleared, the day seemed to go by quicker for the boy.

The final bell had rung and Kyu was one of the first ones out of the school. He went over not what he had learned in class today, but what he had learned outside of it. He had searched for information regarding the ivy-covered building, and he had come to the conclusion that said building was the Occult Research Club. That was where the members would meet up after class, sometimes before, and when they had time. Kyu had learnt that the two most popular girls in school were the heads of the club yesterday, and now he knew another one of the club members. The only male in the club, Kiba Yuuto. He held a reputation in school as being handsome, kind, and smart. Kyu's information on Kiba's athleticism was lacking. Once Kyu had learned Kiba's name, it wasn't hard for the boy to track him down, considering that he, too, was extremely popular. He was a second year and he had blonde hair, blue eyes, and a feminine face. Like the first half of the Two Great Ladies, he looked of European descent. Kyu would've phrased how he looked differently, but in consideration of a certain ethnic group, he decided not to say what he thought aloud.

It bothered the boy quite a bit that the club had thus far seemed to consist of popular students exclusively. Of course, it could just be that the popular kids had a common interest in researching the occult, but the strange feeling that Kyu had felt when he actually stepped foot on the old school house's steps wasn't something so easily forgotten.
Kyu suddenly froze in his tracks. He looked ahead at what appeared to be a light source. Although it was bright, it didn't blind the boy.
Kyu watched as the light suddenly erupted into a spiraling mass before suddenly taking the form of a perfectly smooth, transparent blue slab. It was as thin as paper, but was as rigid as glass. Letters seemed to be forming on the holographic sheet, although it would be more apt to say that gaps of the screen were crumbling into sparkling dust, and being replaced by letters.

Once the formation of the screen had been completed, Kyu read the words inscribed. The language was familiar to the boy, but it wasn't any that he spoke. He could translate it into English or Japanese, and get the exact same result. After staring at the letters for more than a second, Kyu could've sworn that the letters he was staring at was common knowledge, but he knew in the back of his mind that this was abnormal.
