"Thank you for inviting us Xie-daozhang." Jiang Fengmian spoke before his robes were pulled.

"A-cheng?"

"Can jiejie and I stay here for a week?"

"You want to stay?" She looked at her son and daughter.

They both nodded and Yu Ziyuan looked at Xie Lian.

"It's quite alright, San Lang and I don't mind." Xie Lian smiled.

"Well then- alright you guys can stay but only for a few days understood."

"Yes." they both replied before they hugged their parents.

"Have a safe trip back." Xie Lian bowed just as they were going to leave a villager appeared.

"Xie-daozhang? Oh I didn't know you had guests."

"What can I help you with."

"The villagers wanted to give this to him for his birthday. It's not much but-"

"Thank you. It's really appreciate." He spoke looking at Wei Wuxian who began to fight with Hua Cheng.

"Let. Go. Of. My. Hair." Wei Wuxian yelled as he himself pulled Hua Cheng's hair and kicked him.

"How about you let go of mine first."

"N. O! BABA IS MINE. I HAVE HIM ALL TO MYSELF TODAY. IT'S MY BIRTHDAY."

"I've spent more time with him than you have ever. Plus he is my beloved." He retaliated

Xie Lian sighed before he spoke, "What are you both arguing about now. A-ying stop kicking and pulling your father's hair and San Lang."

All it took was one gaze of Xie Lian for him to understand and he let go.

"Apologies for that." Xie Lian smiled innocently.

"Do they-"

"Yes quite often. Well thank you old sir and again have a safe trip back to Yunmeng."

"Thank you Xie Lian." Yu Ziyuan said as she bowed before she as followed by Jiang Fengmian.

"A-ying practice your calligraphy for 50 minutes and San Lang you're in charge of taking care of the Jiang Siblings and by no means you are allowed to leave them with someone else to visit me. I'll be back."

"No gege and baba hurry up." Xie Lian spoke seriously before he turned around to look at Jiang Yanli and Jiang Cheng ignoring the sulking people behind him.

"I'll be back make your selves at home. San Lang will be looking after you. If he leaves you with someone else let me know alright."

"Yes Uncle Xie."

"Yes Xie-daozhang."

"Oh please just call me Uncle Xie" he smiled before saying goodbye and leaving.

"A-xian don't slack off Uncle Xie instructed you." Jiang Yanli stated as Wei Wuxian pouted.

"I HATE THIS."

"Should've thought of that before you acted." Jiang Cheng sated crossing his arms.

"We both got punched stop complaining." Hua Cheng sighed leaning against his chair.
