"A-ying wake up," Xie Lian softly said to the sleeping boy.

"..."

Xie Lian looked at Hua Cheng who only smiled as he walked over to them.

"San Lang."

"Mmh," He said as he looked at Xie Lian.

"Do you think- I don't know," Xie Lian shook his head.

"Gege whatever you think tell me about it,"

"Thank you, San Lang!" He smiled as he looked back at the sleeping Wei Wuxian.

Then he felt some lips on his forehead. He looked up and saw Hua Cheng place a kiss.

"Blegh,"

Both looked at the boy who made a fake expression of disgust as he rubbed his eyes his hair messy from his sleep.

"Looks who is finally awake," Xie Lian said smiling at him as he ruffled his hair.

"Mmh,"

"Come and eat! Then we will talk alright,"

Hearing the word food he stood up immediately and ran to the table.

As they were eating a knock was heard. Xie Lian almost choked on the food he had in his mouth from trying to speak. Hua Cheng was patting Xie Lian's back as Wei Ying stood up and opened the door. The next thing was a slam of the door and Wei Ying went back and continued eating.

"Who was it,"

"Qing and Xin shushu," He said

"Mmh, finish eating I'll go talk to them,"

After Xie Lian finished telling them to wait until they finished eating he went back in and ate.

"Alright, you both come inside,"

Wei Ying didn't even dare look at his two uncles.

"What happened yesterday why was a-ying crying," Xie Lian said

"He-," He took a breath in before saying, " we were sent to the memories of both Mu Qing and me, and well he saw the majority of it except the fall of Xianle,"
He panicked towards the end.

"He saw what we told you back then after the fall of Xianle,"

Hearing that Xie Lian stiffened and it became silent.

"..." Xie Lian coughed before saying, "Alright, thank you for telling me, you can leave,"

As they stood up Wei Ying called out.

"I'm not mad anymore it's just I was overwhelmed. Apologize to baba!" He said.

"We apologize Tàizi Diánxia," both said bowing to Xie Lian.

"It's alright, I've long since forgiven you both, but thank you!" Xie Lian said

Then Wei Ying ran to his uncles and hugged them. They both hugged him back and after that, they went back to the heavenly capital while Wei Ying stayed with his parents.

"Baba! I want to be a cultivator!" He beamed.

Xie Lian smiled as he patted his head.

"First turn 9 and then we'll talk about it!"
