Early in the morning after getting ready I went to the kitchen to eat some breakfast and I see Moon prepare pancakes and egg on the dining table already. He's wearing an apron shirt less and I see flour on his face.
"Hey, good morning Jack. Breakfast?" putting egg on his plate he says - Moon
"Good morning, aww thank you." sitting down I say - Jackielyn
Moon then sat down beside me with his messy self and all I see is a bright smile on his face. Looking at his face I stood up, grabbed some tissue and wiped Moons face.
"How in the world did you get flour all over your face?" wiping his face I say - Jackielyn
"I guess I was in a rush to make the pancakes before you came in. I wanted to surprise you." looking at me shyly he says - Moon
"Well I appreciate everything you did Moon, thank you. Next time I will be making you breakfast" - Jackielyn
"No worries, thank you too for letting me stay here." - Moon
After we ate breakfast I washed the dishes and I headed off to school. Moon is doing online school for now since he is just settling in for the semester.
When I got school I see Dae in one of my classes, I totally forgot we had one class together. I sit far from him pretending I don't see him. The teacher then starts the class.
"Good morning class, so today I will be assigning a project for you all. You will each be doing this with a partner, that I have choice for you and you guys will be presenting your work in front of the class in a week from now." - Professor
"Ok so I'll be calling you guys in pairs and make sure you know who your partner is because I won't be repeating myself. First is Veronica & Alisha, then Rachael & Will, Helena & Chris, Jackielyn & Dae.......(says the rest of the classes pairs)." - Professor
Wait what.....me and Dae are partners for this project?! Hell no, after what we just talked about.
"So now you guys can sit beside your partners now." - Professor
This is probably the last thing I want to happen but it is what it is. So I get up and walked my way to Dae, he's sitting looking at me as I come.
"Hey...." - Dae
"Hi." - Jackielyn
"I just wanna say, I want to keep this professional so right now I'm just gonna pretend that we just met. Okay." - Jackielyn
"Yah for sure." - Dae
Once class finished I stood up and left as soon as possible. I don't have any grudges for Dae but I just like to keep my distance. When I walked out I feel someone coming towards me from my back.
"Hey Jackielyn...." - Dae
"Hi what's up?" - Jackielyn
"Um when do you want to work on this project together, I can come to your house or you can come to mine?" - Dae
"We can meet up at the library tomorrow after school is done." - Jackielyn
"Ok that sounds good to me." - Dae
"Well see you tomorrow, bye." walking off I say - Jackielyn
