Louis switches off his phone and pockets it before walking out of the kitchen to where Harry is lazily stretched out on the three-seater couch in his living room.

"Hey." He says softly, and his heart starts melting at the sight of Harry smiling up at him. His dimples on full display as the smile reaches his eyes.

Harry lifts his head. "Do you wanna sit?" He asks when Louis only stares back down at him.

"Uhm." Louis clears his throat. "No, uhm, actually, uhm... I have something to show you." He answers and holds out his hand towards Harry. "Come with me?"

Harry slowly sits up. Nervously taking Louis' hand when he stands up. When Louis starts walking towards his bedroom, Harry's eyes widens and he immediately stops. Louis, stops right next to him and turns around, the confusion evident on his face. "You okay?"

Harry swallows thickly. "Is this about the, uhm, about the chocolates?" He asks sweetly and Louis watches a shy smile form on his mouth.

"The choc... What?!" Louis exclaims. The look of confusion growing.

"Uhm, no, nothing." Harry is quick to answer when he realizes that he probably gave himself away just now. He starts walking towards the bedroom again.

Something clicks for Louis though and he tightens his grip around Harry's hand, stopping him in his tracks. "So you're the chocolate thief." He says teasingly and Harry can't stop the giggle slipping from his throat when Louis lightly tickles him on his side.

"Stop." More giggles. "It was only three pieces." Louis watches the younger man laugh, and can't help the fond expression on his face.

"That's alright, love. I don't care about the chocolates." He starts walking again, pulling Harry into the room right behind him. "I want to show you something."

"Okay." Harry says and places his overnight bag down on the bed.

Louis watches it and picks it up with his free hand. He gives Harry a sweet smile. "Come." He says as he starts dragging him towards his closet.

Once inside, Louis turns towards the green eyed man. "I, uhm, l-" he gestures toward on corner of his closet.

Harry turns his head and is met with an empty shelf, and empty rail and two empty drawers, slightly pulled open. He looks back to Louis.

Louis nervously starts again. "I emptied those for you, for your things, so you don't have to bring a bag every time. I-" he swallows thickly, taking Harry's free hand into his own, so his holding both of them now. "I- we've been seeing each other for a little over two months now, and I was just thinking. I mean, I'd understand if you don't want to, which would suck but I'd understand and I won't hold it against you, but I'd love it if you'd con-" Louis is cut off by a pair of lips on his own. The kiss is slow, languid, calming, reassuring. "Why'd you stop." He asks when Harry slowly starts pulling away.

"You were babbling." Harry replies sweetly and watches a Louis rolls his eyes. "But you were definitely about to ask me something." He pecks Louis' lips again. "So try again." He encourages.

"Right. Okay. Yeah." Louis breathes out. "I- like I've said, we've been seeing each other for over two months now."

Louis looks into Harry's eyes. He can't do it. As much as he wants to, he doesn't want to be rejected. His heart is not ready for that. What was he thinking.

"So I would like you to bring some of your stuff over, you know, leave it here." He says, and for a second he imagines seeing a look of disappointment on Harry's face.

"Oh." The younger man says sweetly with half a smile. "Yeah. Sure. I'd love that, Lou."
