The night was cold and bitter, the cold air bit at her skin as she stood on her balcony in her torn dress, waiting.
In the distance, there was a golden flicker, a flame, a slither of light in the cold darkness of the woods.
She went inside and waited for her uninvited guest at the doors. She waited for a few minutes.... BANG
Her doors crashed to the ground and a cloaked figure walked in holding a torch in their hand.
The figure wore a blue dress, sky blue, with a torn grey cloak.
"Widow! Get your ass down these stairs!" the figure called out.
Widow recognised the voice, it seemed so familiar... she began walking down the stairs in her usual fashion, as soon as she saw the blue dress, she knew who it was.

"You make your way to my Manor... You treat me like shit... you take away my husband... and now you break down my door" Widow hissed, "and now what? you plan to kill me?"

The figure snickered and revealed a hatchet from under the cloak, "precisely"

"I always knew you were trouble, Anna." Widow reached the bottom of the stairs and stood opposite Anna.

"Cmon, Spidey, let's see how vicious you are", she snarled and gabe a signal for her accomplices to grab her.

They grabbed her arms waist, Widow threw her arms around in a desperate attempt to be free of their grasp, it all eventually failed when one of them knocked her out.

The next thing Widow knew, she was on a box in the middle of the town, tied to a wooden pole and the townspeople surrounding her.
They were shouting things, but widow couldn't hear them, her vision was blurry and her thoughts hazy. She felt a piercing pain on her feet and a warm sensation on her legs, and a burning smell from her dress. It didn't take her long to figure out they were burning her alive.
With her tear filled eyes, she looked up at the night sky. Her lungs filled with smoke as she took a deep breath in to scream for her lover, "FRANCIS! FRANCIS HELP ME!"

Nobody responded, only the cackle of Anna, Widow looked at her and there he was, tied up besides Anna. "LET HIM GO!" Widow yelled out in a cracked voice.
"Let me keep your head as a trophy then", with that, they put out the fire and dragged Widow's burnt body over to a guiotine. Anna stood beside her, "Tonight! A legend falls... and a new is born! I, Anna Florenceham!"
Widows legs were scorched and burnt, she lifted her head to see her manor up in flames in the distance and to see her holding the rope to the guiotine,
"Francis, my love, in another lifetime I will be yours and you will be mine... I promise. I love you now and I will love you forever more", and with that the Black Widow spider had been slayed.
Many in the crowd screamed overjoyed, whilst Francis weeped and cried. He regretted leaving her for someone who didn't love him after all. Anna picked up Widows head and cheered and glared at her husband, Francis. Anna ripped Widow's eye covering from her face and finally, Francis knew why she wore it.
