Divergent- No War

Chapter 11

TOBIAS POV

I couldn't  sleep so I decided to go to the fear landscape room. I was halfway there when I realized that I didn't even leave Tris a note, I really hope she doesn't start to freak out. 

I walk into the fear landscape  room a few minutes later. There already is a needle with serum in it so I just take it and jab it into my neck.

TRIS POV

I hop out of bed a quickly as possible, put my shoes on and run out the door. The first place I check is the training room but he is not there so then I head to the fear landscape room and...

There he is, I sigh a sigh of relief. I can tell by the way his body automatically stiffens that he is on his last fear: Marcus. I stand outside of the room looking through the window at my hurting boyfriend that I can't even help. Luckily after about 1 minute he overcomes the fear and he is out of the landscape, I quickly open the door and run into his arms.

"I thought you were dead" and then the tears come. He slowly whispers calming things, like "it's ok Im here now", "it's ok" or "i'm fine", while slowing patting my hair. After some time I have finished crying and we walk back to the apartment hand in hand

"It changed" he says quietly.

"Oh" Is all I can manage to say

"Now you're in it" I look towards him shocked "Now I have to watch you die and there is nothing I can do about it" I rub his hand in, what I hope, a calming way and then we just walk silently back home. We fall asleep in bed, holding onto each other.

TIME LAPSE

Today the initiates were learning how to fight so there wasn't really anything interesting. Surprisingly Ace and Grace are probably the best fighter. After work Tobias and I go to the apartment. I get ready to go over to Chris's and Tobias gets ready to go out with Uriah, Zeke and Will.

"Please don't get to drunk" I say

"I won't, don't worry." he replies and the we go our separate ways, as in me going to Chris's and him going to meet his friends and the club.
