Rose's POV
Hi! My name is Rose and I am 19 years old. Two years ago I graduated high school. Obviously that is pretty young.. I mean I graduated as a 17 y/o and I am still not attending college. The only reason why I am not having the time of my life as a sophomore at UGA is because of my best friend Mac. She is 18 and just graduated last May. We are two grades below each other but basically the same age. Anyways, we are finally moving to California to attend a beauty school! We have saved since we were 14 and have already bought our apartment. 5 years ago, we were texting about college and the future and then this idea popped into our mind. Now the biggest dream of my life was finally coming true.

"OMG ROSE!" My best friend Mac yelled into my ear waking me from a deep sleep. "What...?" I grumbled from my sleepy state. Then I suddenly remembered. WE WERE MOVING TO CALI BABY! I jumped up out of my bed and hugged Mac. We stood there for a while happy dancing until my mom came in and told us it was time. Two hours later we finally left the house. Mac and I want to major in cosmetology hence why we are moving to Cali. She wants to be a hairdresser and I want to do makeup. We basically took forever to get ready even though we were just going on a plane. I was wearing a white flowy crop top with some high waisted shorts and white high top converse. My hair was straight and my makeup was very minimal. Mac had left her hair wavy from the previous night and like me, was wearing very little makeup. Her outfit was a cute tank top and shorts and a pair of white keds. I had to admit, we looked pretty dang hot. Thirty minutes later we arrived at the airport. There was lots and lots of crying and hugging but the happy kind. We said our final goodbyes as we boarded the plane. As a "Goodbye and Good-luck" gift as our parents called it, we had gotten first class seats on the plane, all expenses paid. I am very very afraid of planes. Like deathly afraid. And having a 6 hour travel did not help settle my nerves. I was very jittery and my best friend could tell. She grabbed my hand and squeezed it and said "Rose. This is really it. our dreams our coming true." I gave her a squeeze back and our journey started.
