Friends of a Falling Flower

The sun rose, It was a brand new day. A sunny bright day filled with hope. I yawned in relief. I stretch my limbs and get dressed for the morning. I brush my teeth swiftly and effectively in the bathroom. I put on my red shirt and dirty jeans. Now it's time to eat breakfast! I always start my morning with a fresh homemade salad... Just kidding I throw that away.

I start my morning eating some Dragon fruit cereal. Yes, it's a store brand you can stop shaming\Judging me now. I love Dragon fruit cereal. The soft dragon fruit-shaped marshmallows mixed with milk is oh my gosh, Wonderful! I grab a spoon and dig in but before I could eat half of my store-brand cereal I hear a knock from my door.

"Hm? Who could that be this early in the morning?" I ponder.

I walk towards the door and open it. It's an Angel.

"Hello, I'm Daniella and I am a messenger Angel!" A cherry black long-haired Angel smiles brightly. "Don't worry this isn't a prostitution test. I am simply here to deliver you a message from the beautiful princess Elizabeth."

"Aw isn't she just the best!" Daniella crosses her legs and blooms her wings out for it to be possible. "She makes me feel butterflies in my stomach!"

"Can you tell me what's the message I am kind of in the middle of something." I yawn.

"Ooh, sowwy. I didn't want you to be upset with me. Anyways the message is uh... it says Dear Leo Oakheart can you please do me a favor and go to Cloud station 7. It's behind Ike's Kingdom. You can take the Rift in my Palace, and walk back if you want. It's not a long walk. Please and thank you, some friends are waiting for you. P.s I'll be busy today so wait for me with them in my palace. Huh, guess that's the message any questions?" Daniella reads out the message.

"Can I do that after I finish eating my cereal?" I ask politely.

"Nope, your gonna have to go now!" She tilts her head to the side and closes her eyes and smiles.

She grabs my hand and takes me to the Palace.

"Have fun!" She smiles and waves goodbye.

Well, I guess I have to do this. I mean I am not gonna reject this quest. I don't want Elizabeth to be disappointed in me. I glance at the Rift in front of me. I groan and slowly walk towards it. A bright light flashes and boom I am not standing on a cloud. With just a bench on it. What am I supposed to do? Wait?

2 hours later

"I can't do this I am just gonna walk back now." I groan in frustration.

I waited there for like 2 hours! What did Elizabeth expect me to do? Nothing has happened! I am an impatient person. I stand up from the wooden bench and suddenly a Rift opens and outcomes out 3 figures. A short dark-skinned boy with a dusty big hat, A girl the same size as I am, She has short hair and blue eyes like me, Finally a slightly taller girl than the other one. She has black hair in a certain hairstyle. Is wearing jeans and glances at me.

"Oh hey, are you the people I been waiting for? I'm Leo Oakheart, Elizabeth told me to guide you back to her Kingdom." I awkwardly spelled it out.

"Oh hello, I am Jamie! Nice to meet you, Tyler told us that Elizabeth is busy so wouldn't be able to fly us there. Guess we'll have to walk huh?" Jamie introduces herself.

"Jamie! Don't tell him everything we know. We can't trust him. We don't even know him. For all, we know he's a fake no offense if you aren't!" The other girl growls

"Roxanne come on, We can trust him he looks trustable. Now introduce yourself to him don't be rude!" Jamie pushes her towards me.

She crosses her arms and glances at me.

"Hi, I'm Roxanne nice to meet you." Roxanne shakes my hand, I shake it back. "Now take us towards the Cloud Kingdom please!"

"Roxanne!" Jamie exclaims.

"What do you want now Jamie?"

"You can't just order him to that! He hasn't even talked to Tucker yet. Come on I know you and you know you don't normally act this rude." Jamie talks to Roxanne. Roxanne huffs and looks away. "Sorry about that Leo she's normally nicer anyway yeah this is Tucker he's also with us."

Jamie pushes Tucker in front of me. He looks mad. His eyebrows are heavy and he looked like he doesn't talk as much as the other two. They all look around my age expect Steampunk kid over here. I call him that cause of his hat. It looks futuristic yet it looks like it came from the distant past.

"Hello, Tucker I'm Leo Oakheart nice to meet you." I crouch down to shake his hand but he just stares at me and my hand and huffs and goes back with Roxanne and Jamie.

"Don't mind him he's a bit shy sometimes. You'll get used to it! Now then let's go we don't wanna keep Elizabeth waiting don't we!" Jamie exclaims.

"Yeah but before that, I have a question for you Jamie," Roxanne smirks

"What is it?" Jamie joyfully Pondered.

"Name a more iconic duo than my crippling fear of abandonment and my anxiety. I'll wait!" Roxanne crosses her arms and smugs.

"Hmmm Ooh, I know me and you!" Jamie puts an arm on her back and hugs her with a cheery smile.

Roxanne tears up.

"Yes, you got it right." She sniffs wiping her eyes off.

"Anyways enough tomfoolery. Leo can you take us to the Cloud Kingdom we shouldn't be leaving Elizabeth to wait." Jamie Mouthed.

"Uh, sure it's this way come follow me down." I signal as I hop down the clouds below.

These kids I mean teenagers actually I am unsure how old they are but they look around my ages anyways they seem interesting. I hope I can become friends with them if they are staying in the Cloud Kingdom, But who knows we just met there's still a lot to talk about with them.
