My heart thuds. I feel my blood run cold. Is that how she presents this??!? She doesn't even scream and yell and get down on her knees and cry because one of mine and her best friends may be gone? The anger boils again and before I can think about what I am saying I scowl at her and scream
"Is that all you are going to say?? You seem alright with the fact my best friend may be dead someplace or his body could be BURRIED 20 feet underground for all I know!!" I throw my hands in the air and grab a lamp off the corner table slinging it across the room and watch it clatter everywhere near the bottle.
Christina doesn't even look bewildered for a moment but a glint of fear is evident in those brown eyes but It sizzles out instantly and now it's coped with anger. I knew how Christina could get. She was nice and bubbly but she had more rage than me and Tris combined.
"Tobias! You think I don't care when I do! Just think of it this way I was looking out for you I knew that losing him and Tris in less than like what 3 years would tear you apart! I didn't want to freak you out plus. If you haven't noticed I lost the love of my life and my best friend sso im in no place to be fighting with you right now!" She stomps her foot on the ground and suddenly I was seeing THIGS in Christina's point of view but I had all my anger Unquarked.. I just couldn't stop it from flooding out of my mouth and I knew I would regret this whole argument later.
"I lost tris to Christina! Your not the only one being effected from Will and Tris!" A few tears emerge in my eyes but I try to blink them back before she notices it, but it was way to late she has the eyes of a hawk. Her expression becomes softer and almost caring as she extends an arm to me patting me on the back. Which I will admit made me feel a little calmer.
"Tobias..." She starts but I shake my head letting her know I'm not interested to continue talking about either Tris or Will.
"I'm sorry" I say softly. I can't lose Christina even if me and her were never the closest in the first place. Her and Zeke is practically all that is left and Zeke is no where to be seen apparently.
"I hate to break this moment Tobias but.. We need to find Zeke..."
