Chapter 5

Ambrose Lucille De Alger Obelia

I was eating with the others in the cafeteria. All of the food Charmy cooked are meat so Noelle complained.

"Anyway, why are you two aren't helping cleaning the base?" Asta asked while munching.

"I'm a royalty and I didn't clean in my entire life why start now?" Noelle flipped her hair.

"I-i don't know how to clean but if you teach me I'll help you with the chores" I said.

"Really? That's great I'll teach you then. Wait, now that I think about it what does magic knights do?" Asta stopped.

"Are you serious?! We protect the kingdom and do missions!" Magna explained. Captain suddenly showed up out of nowhere and told Magna to come with him.

"Huh? Where are you going?"

"There's a mission"

"Can I come?" Asta pleeded.

"Kids aren't allowed"

And then the both of them left. By the time they came back they were naked with only towel on their waist.

"Hey you two, shrimp and Noelle, you'll be going out to your first mission. You'll go hunt boars with Magna supervising you. While you pretty princey you'll go with Luck in a delivery mission"

Captain called for Luck and gave him a small wooden box. "Go to xxx and deliver it to the town's mayor"

"Eh? There's no fighting?" He asked. His voice is so cute.

"I dunno just get it done"

"Come on Lucy"

"Lucy?"

"Short for Lucille I thought it would sound cute" I blushed at his statement but quickly shook my head and followed behind him.

We rode a broom and went straight to xxx town. I can sense something is off so does Luck so we agreed to wear a disguise to observe.

According to Mr Yami this town is prone to bandits attack and the thing we'll be delivering is a magical artifact which is quite pricey.

I can sense multiple malice around the town. Luck and I splitted and I gave him a device that can allow us to communicate. I only have bits of memories about my past life and I manage to caught a memory about something called a 'Telephone' which allows two person to communicate even if they are away from each other and I manage to create one.

As I walk through the crowds I spotted a muscled man with a few scar and tanned skin making a scene in front of a store.

"You better tell me where it is or I'll end your life" he threatened an elderly man.

He's after the package.

The sky suddenly turned gray and multiple figures riding in brooms appeared. They started to attack the people.

"Magic knights! I know your there! If you don't show up and give as the artifact then we'll kill every single person here!" The one in the center said.

I took a deep breath and wore my robe and my crown. Luck appeared on the roof facing the bandits(?) I opened my grimoire and summoned Sagittarius on his bow form and landed next to luck.

"What's this? Kids? From black bulls?"

"One of them is a royalty"

"that crown looks expesive"

"Give us the artifact and that crown-- no that boy! Give both him and the artifact or we'll kill these civilians!" they said as the people bellow started panicking.

Is he underestimating a royalty? I'm pissed.

"Air Magic: indestructible barrier"

I casted a spell to protect the people in the town and Luck wasted no time to attack. He kicked the one on the left and shoot a lighting at the others.

I also helped by shooting wind arrows at the enemies. I didn't notice someone is behind me and tackled me down to the floor attempting to get the crown on my head.

"Air magic: whirlwind prison"

A strong wind force pulled the man and trapped him inside a mini tornado. I quickly got up and made a wind rope to bind those bandits.

"Air magic: Binding wind"

The invisible wind rope bind them together and I also put them inside the enlarged whirlwind prison.

I turned to see Luck beating up the remaining. I walk to him pulling the whirlwind prison behind me and also bind the one he beat up inside the prison.

"Wow! You can do that? I knew it your strong let's fight!"

"Luck-senpai we're on a mission. Why don't we deliver the package I'll handle these bandits"

Thankfully Luck agreed. We gave the Mayor the artifact and went straight to the base to hand over the captured bandits. Luck pestered me about fighting but I told him that I'm still exhausted.

Man what a long day.
