Chapter 9

Third Person

After two days of sleep Ambrose woke up in his room inside the Black Bull hq. He got up and fixed himself before going to the cafeteria since he felt hungry all of a sudden.

When he got there he saw the usual one sided arguing of Magna and Luck, drunk Vanessa, Gauche being a creep, eating Charmy and Grey being Grey. He sat down next to Charmy.

"Ambrose your finally awake" Vanessa said.

"How do you feel Lucy? Great? Let's spar then!" Luck enthusiastically asked.

"I'm fine you guys thank you for your concern. By the way where is Noelle?"

"She's checking on Asta since that guy's still asleep" Magna answered.

Ambrose nodded. They ate breakfast and did what they usually do. Ambrose was on the library again. Since no one else uses it Yami gave him permission to do whatever he wants with the whole library.

The old dusty library was now a fancy and cozy library. He manage to renovate it with the help of his zodiacs and he also managed to use three of them at a time now.

The next day Asta finally woke up and was told to go to the main headquarters to give their report. Luck wasn't allowed to go so instead he was sent to a mission with Magna.

Finral made a portal for the three rookies and they were immediately teleported in the capital. They spotted the Golden Dawn.

"Well if it isn't the golden dawn" Asta said while they approached the other three.

"Asta, it's nice to see your fine." Klaus's personality turned one eighty degree turn in Ambrose's perspective.

"I'm fine lord four eyes, thanks to your recovery magic Mimosa!" Asta looked at mimosa and smiled making the girl blush and ran away.

"Huh? What did I do wrong?" he tilted his head. He's so cute! Ambrose thought.

"Maybe because your so loud and your short" Yuno pointed out ticking off the shorter boy.

"So your fever is gone? That's good to hear" Yuno said approaching the strawberry boy. I didn't say anything though.

"Yes, thank you for taking care of me at the dungeon I really appreciate it, Yuno-san" Ambrose gave him a closed eyed smile. He didn't notice the slight blush on the taller boy who looked away mumbling a small 'Your welcome'

The six proceeded to walk together as they have the same place to go and was greeted by the Wizard king himself. Klause, Mimosa, Noelle and Ambrose bowed showing their respect while Yuno and Asta stood there cluelessly. He was introduced as the 28th wizard king, Julius Novachrono.

"I see it... The eyes of your father. I can clearly remember our first meeting haha" The wizard king laughed as he patted Ambrose's hair.

"You knew my dad?"

"Of course, that cold hearted guy is one of my old friends after all. I heard your kingdom is in trouble and your here to seek help. Don't worry I will help you, as for your father I'm sure he's safe, after all, he's powerful than me" Julius stated smiling warmly at the strawberry boy.

"Thank you very much!"

Julius asked about Yuno's new spell but wasn't able to see it since Yuno hasn't still figured out how to use it. Asta showed his grimoire with demon language which the King didn't understand. Ambrose was there standing between Klause and Noelle with a hesitant look.

"Do you have something you wanted to say, Ambrose?" Asta asked. Ambrose sighed before opening his grimoire.

"Well, you see I found a key on the dungeon which resembles the world tree branch and it suddenly went inside my grimoire" he opened the page where there's an image of the key and some unknown texts displayed on each page..

"Hmm... This is quite interesting, I also can't read a few language but the name of the key is 'Eclipse' the rest of the texts are still unknown. Why don't you try to use it?" Asked the Wizard king with a sparkling look on his eyes.

"W-well if you insist then... " Ambrose summoned out the key and grab it before pouring out his mana. Nothing happened so he poured more until it finally glowed and and disappeared followed by a blinding flash of light in front of him.

A small girl around ten years old with icy blue long flowing hair tied in two low pony tails and pale blue eyes wearing a traditional Japanese kimono.

"So your the holder of my key I see. Your also the vessel of Yggdrasil that the archangels always talked about. It's a pleasure to meet you, my name is Mizuki and I'm the spirit of the moon and sun" She said before bowing.

"A cute little girl" Noelle and Mimosa whispered.

"Spirit of the moon and sun? I've never heard of that" Klause commented.

"What's Yggdrasil" Asked Asta as he glanced back and fourth to the two individuals.

"So it's not just a legend? The tree that is known to be the beginning of everything, the tree of life. It is said that it can only be seen in the heavens realm where angels lived" Julius said. Mizuki looked at him and nodded.

"You are indeed right, however, the only ones who would be able to enter the heaven's realm are the people that received the Yggdrasil's blessings" Then she glanced at Asta. "You obtained a temporary blessings from master Ambrose since he used it to support you on battle the other day" she explained surprising everyone.

"So I can enter the heaven's realm?" Asta tilted his head in confusion.

"Yes, but only if the master can open the gate. He never used his Yggdrasil magic so he hasn't learned it yet" Nodding to herself she answered.

"W-well, it's b-because it's dangerous a-and Dad didn't want anyone else to know about it since it will attract unwanted attention"

"That's understandable, considering that your his favourite son" Julius chuckled.

"But I'm his only son" Ambrose stated as Yuno, Asta, Klause and the two girls sweat dropped.

"I'll be going then, summoning me needs a lot of mana so before you use my key you need to practice controlling both of your mana reservoirs" With that Mizuki disappeared and the key went back to Ambrose's grimoire.

"Well that was something"
