VEGAS LET OUT A BORED SIGH, she'd rather be spending the evening teaching spells to the little ones of the coven than be in some podunk town she was pretty sure only had one gas station, she was sure it was the one they had just passed.

"Why did I have to come," Vegas whined, "I'm not even supposed to be here. Technically, I'm not even supposed to leave the commune."

"We don't live on a commune, we're not a cult." Havana said, but she did have to agree with Vegas an everything else she had said.

"Well, it feels like it sometimes." Vegas said.

     "I'm sorry for you being–"

"Put in a timeout." Vegas stated.

"Well, can you blame them. You were the one stupid enough to get caught using dark magic-"

"You used dark magic all the time, you even got caught and weren't even punished, how is that any fair?" Vegas protested.

Havana sighed, she was honestly tired of hearing her cousin wine all the time, "It's not the same and you know it. You used it for fun, I used it to stop Azazel. I told you not to use it anywhere neat the elders and not get caught hanging out with Valentina. All you had to do was see her outside of the coven."

Vegas looked out the window, watching the cows go by and hoped it wouldn't smell like manure the whole time they were there, "I just wanted to help her."

"I know, but you should've been smarter about it."

Vegas nodded, knowing it was idiotic of her to perform the spell on the coven's land, "Where's your mom, I thought she was supposed to ride with us?"

"She should be right behind us," Havana said, looking at her rearview mirror to see a black car following them, "She had to speak to the elders but wanted us to get there as soon as possible."

"Are you sure she's gonna make it in time? We're almost to the town." Vegas said.

Havana shrugged, "I don't know, but we can handle ourselves."

     "Against your psychotic brother."

     "Yeah." Havana said.

     "You don't sound so convincing."

Havana knew her brother was stronger than her, ever since he starting doing sacrifices to amplify his powers, she spent most of her time in the working at the hospital instead of practicing her witchcraft, "We can handle this." at least she hoped, "Just tell me where to go. I don't want to waste time driving in circles, trying to find this place."

Vegas pulled out her phone, where the address was already programed into the gps, "It says we're only fifteenish minutes away from some one star rated motel." They had finally entered the town and it looked even more boring in person, "Why the hell would your brother choose a place like this? I'd die from boredom."
