Just so you guys don't get confused (even though you're just a handful, self roast lol) the dialogues under ** these star marks are what the person is thinking and the others are just normal conversations. Enjoy the story.
The next day early morning Rajyavardhan left for Karnataka. He had to go to Murudeshwar to visit the prestigious Shiv Temple there and later he would leave for Chamarajanar where he was invited as a chief guest. This is what Rajyavardhan wanted from his life, to be at a position everyone respected, he very well knew that there would be various IAS officers on duty, but the one who would be respected the most even by the officers would be him.
Gurpal : aadhe ghante main Murudeshwar pohonch jayenge, seedha resort par hi roke na?
Rajyavardhan : Haan haan, mandir 4:30-5:00 tak chalte hain.
Gurpal : Ji
Rajyavardhan : Are Gurpal, tum thak nahi jaate ho? Itne saalon se humare saath ho, humara kaam karte ho, humari wafadari karte ho....
Gurpal : ... aapke naukar hain (Gurpal said cutting Raj's sentence, which was again an offence performed by a lower caste to a higher caste. Though Raj was not a heavy believer of the caste system, he had to follow some rules set by bauji a vintage person.)
Humara matlab humare papa, unke papa sab aapke ghar ke aadmiyon ki seva kiye hain, hume bhi karni hi thi.
Rajyavardhan : hmm.Maybe this was a test taken by Raj to check Gurpal's dedication to his work. It was not needed though. Everyone knew that Raj himself could believe Gurpal with his eyes closed, and that was because Gurpal had dedicated his life to serve Rajyavardhan. He could never think of crossing his orders or doing something that upsets Raj. Gurpal could die serving Raj and he has till date killed many by Raj's order. Gurpal's dedication was limited to Rajyavardhan which made his capability more efficient. He won't believe anyone's word except Raj and vice versa. Raj trusted Gurpal more than his family members. Raj trusted Gurpal more than himself.

It was a new day for Aparajita. Her first day at her dream job!!!! Becoming an IAS officer was her one and only dream which was a reality now. She couldn't thank Gods enough, but tried every way in which she could. So just as she knew there was a Shiv Temple in Karnataka in Murudeshwar, near Champarajanagar the first district she would be administrating as a sub - collector,, she had to go there for darshan.
Aparajita was provided travel by the government, one of the many benefits of having a government job. She was given 6 vehicles to travel from Delhi to Karnataka.
When she reached Murudeshwar, she decided to stay at the government quarters and leave for the temple around 5:30 pm.
Before that she decided to talk to her best friend Dhairya.
Dhairya, what a piece God had made. She was great and ridiculous at the same time. Aparajita and Dhairya were friends since senior kg. Even though Dhairya had to leave Mumbai (where Aparajita was born and brought up) in 7th grade and move to Banglore her hometown, there friendship maintained to this day.*ring ring ring *
