Coffee?

The next day Aparajita went to her office as usual, there she was informed that Rajyavardhan would be coming the next day as the book collection will begin then. Holding her excitement had almost become impossible. She didn't know what she would do once he came, but she sure knew it would make her happy. Her mind didn't want her to focus anywhere, it was just around Rajyavardhan's thoughts, his eyes, his height, his deep heavy voice and the way he talked with her, almost uncaring. With being excited to meet him, she thought she had to make a move or she would lose her chance on Rajyavardhan. But was very nervous if he would show interest in her.

Rajyavardhan felt something similar but not the same. He too was excited to see Aparajita but was not anxious, he knew the ball was in his court as Aparajita had fell for him and now he was sure he'll get the girl he wanted without any hardwork and with having fun along the way.

As Aparajita finished her work at the office she returned to her government quarters and found Dhairya laying on her couch.

Aparajita : Abe tu kya kar rahi yahan pe?!?

Dhairya : Kya kar rahi ka kya matlab hai? Aaj hi aane vaali thi main.
She said annoyingly.

Aparajita : Accha haan main bhool gayi thi.

Dhairya : Bhoole ja rahe hain log humko, aana hi nahi chahiye tha.

Aparajita : Exactly. Aana hi nahi chahiye tha, khud Karnataka ki hi hai lekin aa gayi mere saath rehne.
Apoorva said sarcastically.

Dhairya : Tere saath rehne nahi aayi hu tera bhala karne aayi hu, pata hai kitna bore ho rahi hogi.

They dismissed the argument with a hug and sat down to chat.

Aparajita : Ek baat batau??!
Aparajita said grinning ear to ear.

Dhairya knew what was coming.
Dhairya : Kaun hai?
She said rolling her eyes.

Aparajita : Arey, voh jo chief guest aane vaale the naaa!!!

Dhairya : Oho! Kal tak toh bade khusat lag rahe the.

Aparajita : Chup kar! Maine kab bola khusat hain? Voh toh bohot acche hain, bohot lambe hain, kya awaaz hai aha!

Dhairya : Bas bas, idhar hi baha de apni saari nadiya. Kitna bada hai?

Aparajita : Bohoooot lambe hain!!

Dhairya : Abe age kitni hai, tujhpe bharosa nahi mujhe.

Aparajita : Pata nahi....
Aparajita said although knowing Rajyavardhan wasn't any young boy.

Dhairya : Dekh le, kabhi toh pata chalega hi mujhko....
She said raising an eyebrow.

Aparajita : Ab thode bade lag rahe the par exact age nahi pata.

Dhairya : Pata hi tha....

Aparajita : Yaar sunn na, voh kal vaapas aa rahe hain, mujhe thodi baat karni hai unse, thoda impress karna hai, tips de na....please....

Dhairya : Uhh acche kapde pehen kar jaana, aur accha smell karna..

Aparajita : Aur main unse baat kaise karu? Matlab thodi unprofessional baat, office main kaise karungi?

Dhairya : Coffee ke liye pooch le.

Aparajita : Coffee?

Dhairya : Haan haan usse badhiyan kuch nahi hai...

Aparajita : Haan kal try karti hu, thodi friendship karne ka.

Dhairya : Best of luck!!

Aparajita went to sleep after dinner, thinking if she'd be able to even ask him for a coffee date.
But Rajyavardhan was carefree, he had to worry about nothing, his plan was easy and he would execute it tomorrow.
