I am really sorry I haven't posted in a long time (not like anyone cares) but here I am with another short chapter so enjoy yourselves.
It had been over two weeks since Aparajita was on her duty, and she enjoyed every bit of it. Her boss Avanish Shukla the District Magistrate of the town was a great mentor, all that she could ask for. After being informed of the delay, the new date of the inauguration was set. And Avanish informed Aparajita about the duties and the chief guest who would be coming.
Avanish : Bada inauguration hai, bade log aa rahe hain toh hume kuch gadbad nahi karni hai. Maine list of officers tumhe de diye hain, jo rahenge vahan par. Aur inauguration se Pehle vahan ke local residents ko bhi address karke bata dena ki iss inauguration ke unke liye kitne benefits hain.
Aparajita : Okay, inauguration parso hai toh aaj jaake ek baar dekh le sabkuch?
Avanish : Haan theek rahega.
Aur jo chief guest hain voh bohot hi zyaada bade aadmi hain toh sambhal ke rehna unke saamne
Aparajita : Sambhal ke rehna matlab??
Avanish : Matlab unke saamne ekdum respectfully rehna, sir - sir karke hi baat karna, wish karna jab aayein. Bohot bade aadmi hain, humare bhi senior hain aur jaldi gussa bhi aata hai toh sambhal kar rehna.
Aparajita : Bade government official hain? Ya politician hain??
Avanish : Government official hain nahi, par the, lekin power aur izzat officials se kahi zyada hai, ek second main kisiko bhi suspend karwa sakte hain. Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore naam hai. Lucknow main Raja bhaiya ka naam lelo log haveli tak chhod aayenge. Are UP ke CM ke dost hain, voh bhi Rajyavardhan ji par bohot bharosa karte hain.
Aparajita : Naam toh maine bhi kahin suna tha, lekin government official nahi hain toh itni izzat kyu??
Avanish : Government officials aur politicians ke beech main bhi kai log hote hain.
Aparajita : Unhe gunde kehte hain.
Avanish : Gunde nahi, bahubali hain Lucknow ke. Jaise Mirzapur ke Kaleen bhaiya hain Lucknow ke Raja bhaiya hain. Aur Lucknow hi nahi UP ke kaafi shehro main dabdaba rehta hai unka.
Aparajita was disappointed more than shocked, a person not a government official was getting more respect than what all of them get combined. But she had to do what her boss said, so she decided to follow the rules of meeting this man.
